Their personal moral code is as developed as anyone else's. The problem is that you have a personal problem with them. They do nothing to you, but you find them reprehensible as human beings.
No it isn't. They isolate themselves from most segments of society, have no interest in society in general, only their little cults. And yet they demand the right to tell all others what they can and cannot do. Gutless, useless, stupid cowards. Each and every one of them. I blame them for most of the world's problems.
He's making the same hateful snap judgments that he accuses religious types of. Its very very typical nowadays with the "bible belters". Again, he's likely being fed this by some liberal media somewhere.
And you're certainly free to do so. However, I don't see how the isolate themselves from most segments of society. They are free to tell others what they can and can't do. You do the same thing. So do most people. How are they to blame for most of the world's problems?
They do something to others. They try to restrict the rights of homosexuals. The people who are doing nothing to others are homosexuals who want to marry.
If I was a gay person, I wouldn't care what the hell they call it as long as I get the same rights that heterosexuals get.
Personal autonomy. The rights of homosexual couples to marry and the rights of churches to decide who they perform religious ceremonies for.
Again, they believe, as many do that two men or two women shouldn't be able to get married nor should it be normalized within society as a whole. There's nothing wrong with that. Its their opinion. Not everyone has to agree nor do they have the same moral compass.
Maybe you're too young to see it. They hang with their own, almost exclusively, mostly out of fear. No, I don't. You've got to be kidding me. Pick up a history book sometime!
Everyone can claim some rights they should have. I don't agree that homosexuals should be able to get married, personally. All four of the presidential and vice presidential candidates agree with me. What's the difference between the four of them and these "lowly religious bible thumpers?"
I agree. There's nothing wrong with believing that. Everyone is allowed to have their own beliefs. What's wrong is enforcing that belief upon others, as a matter of policy. Absolutely. Which is why gay marriage shouldn't be illegal. We don't all need to have the same moral compass, so just because some/many believe gay marriage is wrong doesn't mean no one should be allowed to.
So there's nothing wrong with racism, sexism, child pornography, cruelty to animals...???? "Not everyone has to agree nor do they have the same moral compass." They are bigots, using their "religion" as some sort of magical excuse for their bigotry. Nothing more, nothing less.
That shouldn't be a problem for you, unless you are a homosexual, because you have NO RIGHT to tell them they can't.
