Kings announcers..."No way you take Durant over Oden after watching him tonight". He's getting in Shape people!
Funny, the Kings annoucers at the end, 'some people said they should have took Durant over Oden' the other guy 'oh No no no no, no way you take Durant over this guy!'
Too many weapons. How are we going to be stopped on offense once we add Martell to this lineup too? We have shooters to make the defense pay when they collapse inside, and they have no choice but to collapse. Love it!
I like to hear that. Oden had a pretty nice stat line, too (five turnovers aside). I like the three assists number, too!
That's the way to finish a game. I think that lineup is going to be our 4th qtr lineup. I think Outlaw is going to be a little upset not playing at the end of the game. I'm sure there will be times against some tems he will be in there instead of Rudy but not many IMO.
Wow, just got a msg 'NBA Preseason Basketball is blacked out on this channel. Glad I didn't get that until now!
Not just the end of the game. Aldrdige, Roy, Rudy, Oden led the team in minutes. Looking at the break down in minutes, this looks like it could be a regular season game and maybe indicative of the rotation when the season hits.
Yeah, I think this might be close to a regular game minutes for Oden, LMA, Roy, Rudy and Blake. I could see maybe Oden for sure getting a couple more minutes and maybe all of them except Blake getting a few more minutes. I hope Nate plays the next couple pre-season games as though they are regular season games just to get them use to the minutes and playing together.
Yeah LMA was easily our workhorse player tonight (and looked absolutely dialed in with that sweet mid-range game of his), until Roy did his Roy thing and took over in the final 5 minutes of the game. I think the Blake/Rudy/Roy/LMA/Oden lineup is going to be a pretty familiar look -- they're just too good to have sitting on the bench, though I suppose Blake could be interchangeable with some other personnel depending on matchups.
Sergio also looked pretty good tonight with his limited time: 13 minutes, 1-1 on 3pt shots, 4 assists, 1 turnover ... good for him.
Plus Nate only played 11 players and that is with Bayless only getting 2 minutes. You take those couple minutes away and it would be almost what we would do in a regular season game. I could see Batum not getting any minutes if he starts to struggle and I could see Bayless get more minutes though.
Outlaw does not strike me as the type of guy who would get upset over that. Especially if we are winning.
