i think theres more of a chance for steve francis or luther head than shane battier. Hes just too well liked by houston fans and their GM. Rockets basically gambled a lot on this season. I doubt they'll try to unload a rotation player unless its for a damn good reason. LT isn't good enough to justify giving battier away.
Actually i'm ok with moving VC to SF in the starting lineup, and trading for a starting level SG instead... but i'm nut sure Francis or Head are the guys who would help us..

I read that Lindsay Hunter was cut (by the Clippers, IIRC). Might be worth pursuing as the third point guard.
We are at 15... we can not sign any free agents.. only if we cut someone, or make a 2for1 trade first.
I knew that. Was just too lazy to write the qualifier "if we could make a 2 for 1 trade or trade a player (Ager) for a trade exception."
