Yeah, BBF screwed up when the Mod's were getting in public debates and airing out their dirty laundry on the blazer forum about the bullshit drama that went on. At the time I really didn't give a shit about what was going on, because it was still a good source for blazer news, etc, but then after having their shit spread out on the blazer forum and the way they responded to the long time veteran members there I really got an idea of how they treat their members. So then i decided to switch over to this place once i got the link. That and this place loads FAST and no ads that i can see.
It's actually quite sad. I used to love bbf 4 years ago when everything was good. When s2 was made and I became aware of it, I posted here, and only checked bbf to see the blazer talk. So I'm pretty happy everyone made it over here, makes it one less place I need to spend time online
I checked both for a few weeks, now I never hit up BBF anymore. I got an email from BBF asking me to come back. Anyone else get one?
I still go back and forth. I've been on there for a couple of years. However one poster there is bugging the heck out of me, which is a first. I don't have a problem with BBF, but everyone left, especially many of the posters I respect - they're here now.
I just went over there and posted on an OT thread, but what struck me is how I am one of three members on the board while there are four mods. Also odd is how it claims there are 28 guests looking at the board. I don't buy it. I wonder if they inflate their guest numbers to rip off advertisers?
Well I got banned from there yesterday because KEAF decided to abuse his mod powers on me. He edited one of my posts to rag on me and when I reedited it to say "Fuck mods who edit my posts when there was no infraction in it" (notice I said nobody in particular) he used the "cant edit over a mod" to justify banning me for 7 days. What a piece of pansy shit. I think the whole site seems to be dying...the season is right around the corner and barley anybody is there. I think the Lakers forum is now the most active forum and it has only 10 regulars or so. It really pisses me off because that site used to be awesome.
Kitty did something similar to me. I edited a post she edited, without removing her edit. Indefinite ban without warning.
Well I dont know what the situation with your incident was but the rule is for when the original post had an infraction within it. If thats the case then I understand that posters shouldnt edit over mods, but that was soooo far from the case in my incident. HCP was kind enough to post a thread that I wrote and PMed to him...Right now it says: Reason for Banning: Hold on Rizzle. We're figuring this out so far its been 36hours for them to figure this out...pathetic
It doesn't say your banned ? btw I think Petey had an answer for why they have so many guests there. Something about bots.
last time i tried it said i couldnt post for some reason. im over it though, although i do appreciate your in depth detective work.
the admins here explained the likely reason for the high amount of guest numbers there and it had nothing to do with ripping off advertisers.
