supposedly jordan is shoppin him around....

Several NBA executives laughed over Charlotte Bobcats owner Robert Johnson’s insistence on Monday that he has no interest in selling his failing franchise. Sources say that there have already been overtures made to prospective buyers in recent months. As for the Bobcats roster, Larry Brown talked Michael Jordan out of trading forward Gerald Wallace over the summer, but that hasn’t stopped him from shopping him in the preseason, sources say. Charlotte was hoping to showcase Adam Morrison enough in the preseason to find a taker for him.

    its on yahoo.com

i think he would be a good addition.... even for stromile....

It'd be impossible to get him. Pipedream.

well, trade machine had hassel, sean, and swift for wallace and davidson work, though it would never happen
you can swap sean for ager and it still works.

Hassell, SWill, and Swift for Gerald Wallace and Davidson would be an excellent trade for the Nets but it wont happen and isnt fair either. we would have to add a draft pick or 2 to make that happen.

    Harris/Dooling
    Carter/CDR/Ager
    Wallace/Simmons/Hayes
    Yi/Anderson/Najera
    Brook/Boone

thats a pretty good team. makes us alot better!

His contract goes against all the hard work Rod and Kiki did this past year to clear up cap room for 2010. Not gonna happen.

Thanks. People completely forget this point. That goes for Nocioni and any other SF that has a contract longer then 2010 unless they are named MELO.

Nocioni's contract is frontloaded. He earns only about 6 mill in 2010.
his contract does not stop us from offering a max contract in 2010. It has been calculated a few times on this board.

Nocioni makes $7 mil in '10-'11 season. Boone will have to be dealt with also in the '10 offseason. Plus Nets have 3 first rounders between now and '10 offseason, and their salaries will count against Nets cap.

Believe me, I'd love Nets to acquire Noce, but it could effect Nets ability to go after James.

We would have to trade VC to get Wallace, and it's doubtful that even he'd be enough.

Maybe not. They're looking to cut payroll, and Wallace has durability issues.

KVH would have been perfect for this trade. Williams, Anderson GS's fist, KVH, and Swift could have potentially gotten it done.

Na, they would just be taking a step backwards. That would be like starting to rebuild while in the middle of a building process.

EDIT: Plus, they have Matt Carroll who basically gives you what Anderson would and Williams is not the kind of guy MJ likes (and from his days running the Wizards, its obvious that he only brings in the guys he likes...he even thought Kwame had a great work ethic).
