I had always thought it was a responsibility..............until this year. What if I don't particularly care for either presidential candidate? Am I obligated to vote for the lesser of two evils out of responsibility?
Oh hell no! Im not going to have all these political threads Ive dealt with for the last 6 months mean nothing!!! All of a sudden on the final hour people are saying "Im not gonna vote because I dont 100% agree with either candidate", or "I express my opinion in not voting". Those are bullshit lazy excuses. Its once, ONCE, every 4 years! Vote!!!
ABM, you seem like a nice guy but that is pathetic. You wont vote for a serious canidate but you will take the time to make a farce out of what people in other countries die for all the time. So lame. I cant believe you POR fans would even talk this way. Sad.

Joking about Bundy. Definitely not joking about the urge to refrain from voting for either Obama or McCain.
I don't see why someone should have to vote if they don't have a preference for one candidate or the other. It serves no purpose to vote if the decision is based on a coin flip. barfo
Well, first of all there are lots and lots of uninformed schmucks out there. But second, there are lots of people who really dislike both Obama and McCain. Some of those will vote for a third party candidate, but some will either not vote or choose between the big two. I doubt there are a whole lot of people who really love both McCain and Obama, however. barfo
OK, so, you're insisting that it's still my responsibility to vote for the lesser of two evils, with the understanding that I'm not ignorant in the matter?
