    Nothing fancy here, I get frustrated with that stuff. Today is our season opener and we need to pick from where we left off last season, and against a great, young team to boot. Matchup to watch will be Oden vs Bynum, it's being talked up as the big man matchup for the future to come, and rightfully so. I wonder how Kobe will pick apart Portland this time....Pau needs to stay aggressive and active against a VERY good Aldridge. Wonder how Roy plays after some injury issue. Lamar needs to show up, period.

    X-Factor to me is our bench vs. Portlands. Portland has players like Rudy Fernandez, Jerryd Bayless, and Joel Pryzbilla coming off their bench, whereas we have Lamar, Jordan, Sasha, and Trevor coming off ours. Whoever's bench can perform well will win.

    I hope we see Sun Yue tonight, cause if we do....we won :D

    I expect this thread to be at least 2 pages full before I get home from school...so starting now til..5PM, GO!

    I am so fucking stoked out for this shit. You have no idea. I want to see Bynum dominate. I want to see Kobe dominate. I want to see Gasol dominate. I want to see some sick jumpers of death from Sasha (who I think will be a fluke this year). God damn it, I want to see Ariza nut all over the Trail Blazers.

    Well yeah, I was surprised when Batum was first named as a starter, but reading Nate say Travis needs time to show what he can do sounded like showcasing a player...that's what I read it as, maybe read into it too much.

    FUCK ME!!!!

    Holy fuck I thought the season opener was on WEDNESDAY!!!! I swear on the all the ESPN commercials it said Cavs/Celtics Lakers/Blazers double header on Wednesday FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This sucks so bad. Game today completely ruins my schedule but I can't miss it :(

    HELL YEAH FINALLY! It's been too, long of a pre-season, but I'm glad our first game is against this team. Portland reminds me of a younger version of our team and this will be a good challenge to start the season off. Radman has been talking a big game on radio shows, I'll be keeping an eye on him to see if he can play as well as he did when the games didn't count.

    I'll be online doing the play by play. Go Lakers!
