I think I have a pretty nice frontline. You can't knock MJ or Scottie though, they are immune to any of that "pace" nonsense and are true legends. That said, my duo isn't far behind (head-2-head stats below) and Robinson is a pretty damn nice interior defender so he's not going to get absolutely torched.

I don't think he has anyone that can contain my frontcourt too much either.

Jordan and Pippen would have a field day against your guys. Artis Gilmore was a fantastic defender and would make it hard for DRob. I also believe Willis Reed could match up quite well to Kevin McHale. You probably have the edge at PG though.

4 out of 5 of dynastys starting lineup is top 50 all time. and his center is a defensive standout. Couple with him having the best sidekick to ever play the game and the best player to ever play the game, he should be winning. Carter wouldn't stand a chance in hell against a prime jordan. I would expect Jordan to score at least 50.

and what does David Robinson against Michael Jordan have to do with anything? It shows me that DRob was going against the likes of Luc Longley.

Well first, Big Men have the most impact on defense usually and D-Rob held Jordan to slightly below average TS% (52). So no one is having a field day against anyone.

Even Hakeem had trouble containing D-Rob career-wise, and his Bigs don't have the overall kind of offensive capabilities mine do. Even DW brought up how drafting Reed was probably a mistake. I think his team is still great and worthy of winning, but it does have the flaws I alluded to.

I beat DW in 3 out of 5 positions and I'm more impressed with my depth. Even my backup Bigs could start and still be quite comparable to some of his starters.

Offensively I think Paul Pierce is better than Scottie, which is always a plus. He's a great and more consistent outside shooter; he'll post up smaller players; he's a better scorer and they even have similar rebound rates and assist percentages. Scottie is better overall, but not by a whole lot.

He'll make Jordan hesitate enough in the paint at least somewhat, which is huge for me.

Those games were never in the playoffs. Jordan was a completely different player in the playoffs. Cold blooded. Jordan would have a field day on Carter and thats the truth. Whether DRob is there or not doesnt make a difference.

Willis Reed was not a bad pick at all. One of only two players (besides Jordan) to win the trifecta of MVP awards in a season.

You can say you beat him in more positions too, but I don't think you realize the differences in talent between Jordan and Carter, Pippen and Pierce. Your team has egos as well, I see the possibility of a chemistry problem.

There is nothing for Jordan to improve upon in the playoffs, he was already the GOAT. He simply played more minutes per game in the playoffs which accounts for his rise in volume based statistics. His true shooting percentage and per-minute production was relatively the same, D-Rob would still clog up the paint and annoy him enough to not get absolutely torched. At the end of the day this is a team game not a 1-on-1 basketball game which is why I believe I'll do fine if we take the entire depth of both teams into account.

Don't think I said he was a "bad" player though.

Well I know your going to argue this claim, but I think it's quite obvious DW has a better team. People are probably voting because they don't even know who World B. Free or Artis Gilmore are.

And I'm out, tired of arguing.

It would be obvious if he had better big men maybe, that isn't the case. He has a great team regardless. However, I should mention that Artis Gilmore never dominated the NBA the way he did with the ABA.

    MJ & Pippen>>>>>>>>>>>>Huevon's whole team

Those guys beat great combo's of players without any kind of supporting cast, so I don't see anything different here. Then to say David Robinson held Jordan to 52% shooting or w/e is just plain stupid considering he never even guarded him. Jordan wouldn't hesitate seeing David Robinson in the paint lol How many fucking times have you seen Michael Jordan hesitate...pff...NEVER! He'd get David Robinson to foul out before he hesitates.

To dismiss D-Rob's defensive presence is stupid to me, Pierce and Carter are defensively better or comparable to the players who had to guard MJ on Rob's team so that was indeed worth mentioning. I guess Bigs never alter any shots from guards then? Please, and McHale is a wonderful defender too so with their help defense I can fight off Airness somewhat. D-Rob never had this kind of team around him either so what's your point on that? Plus Jordan never had to face the Celtics or Lakers from the 80's in their prime when he won those titles.

HK's team has fantastic depth, as i've said before. But, i'll give this one to Dynasty, he has an incredibly dominant starting lineup. Congrats to you both :)

The fact that you're dismissing his players because they played in the ABA is the same thing, if not worse. Plus we're also talking about Michael Jordan, the guy can finish anytime he wanted to, and would probably get someone like David Robinson in foul trouble, or end up dishing the ball to the guy Robinson left, for an easy dunk. Michael Jordan and Pippen also never had this kind of team around them when they were winning titles, most of these guys never had great teams, that's what makes this draft unique.....also what does Jordan not having to face Showtime Lakers & the Celts have to do with anything? Jordan's teams practically dominated for an ERA of their own, so he's with the likes of the late 80's Celtics and Lakers IMO

I've already given props to Jordan, Pippen, and DW. I'm not dismissing anything... Gilmore was noticeably less productive in the NBA, his rebounding comes to mind especially and that's not my problem. This seems to be a common trend of the ABA.

Jordan is the best individual player but he wouldn't win as many titles in the 80's. That's not really his fault, just a testament to the fact that incredible depth and teamwork can knock his team off. Player X never had this kind of team around him either, so that kind of general statement does nothing for me.
