Can the Blazers pull off two "upsets" in a row? I have my doubts but I'm going with the boys.

I am going to go out on a big limb. I know it is back to back, but Mo (Uncle not Weak Cheeks) is back with Blazers. I think the Blazers are going to be on a mission tonight. I am predicting a big game from Sergio & Rudy with the 2nd unit.

    Blazers 110
    Suns 95

I also am predicting that if I am not right I will be in last place.

Do the Suns even have a worthy player that comes off the bench? I can see Portland's bench winning this game.

    Leandro Barbosa....Grant Hill.....Boris Diaw.....Robin Lopez.......

Their bench is better than ours without Oden and Webster in the lineup, and even with both of them, it's still arguable.

    Barbosa yes
Hill is old, I like Batum on him
    Diaw is ok
Lopez is nothing to worry about

Hill is old but good, Diaw is a good player when he plays aggressive, and Lopez played extremely well for the Suns in the pre-season. Whether he gets burn in the regular season is still TBD, but I like his chances.

Either way, this still blows your first statement out of the water, since you agreed that Barbosa was a good player off the bench.

Lopez looked pretty good in summer league and could be an effective player against the 2nd unit if Phoenix is in a zone defense. I figure Frye will try to roam the perimeter and will have to make Lopez pay for guarding the paint. Problem is if he misses, who is going to box out Lopez?

I watched Lopez pick up 3 fouls in 2min against the Hornets. The Suns have played2 games this year. How exactly has Robin Lopez played well for the Suns? He's nothing to worry about. If Lopez beats the Blazers then the Blazers have a huge problem.

My original post was a general question without think much about it. I wasn't stating that the Suns have no one to come off the bench.

    Summer league doesn't mean anything.

I wouldn't say it doesn't mean anything, but yeah I get your point. I didn't say he would be great -- but I could see his style of play creating an interesting match up challenge for the 2nd unit.
