Pistons get $24M off their books. The Nuggets get a real PG. SAS said McDyess probably won't go to Denver.
McDyess and Billups to the Nuggets puts them right back in the thick of fighting for a playoff seed and they should be a much more balanced team. Things just got tougher in the short run.
Son of a... If this had happened in the preseason, I bet many experts would have dropped POR to #3 in the division. If the parts come together, Denver will make a renewed push for a playoff spot.
We will see. I don't know how much better this makes Denver. Along with Iverson leaving goes his high scoring ways also. I still think it was a great trade on Denver's part.
