Just started. Graphics look great, looks very detailed and the auto-updates are cool. While I started out in the main menu with my academy sent on Team China, music will play in the background, but also a live ESPN update will come up. Cause while I was shooting with Yao, they were re-reporting the AI-Billups trade. That was really neat and I love it. Also on the Academy menu, you can walk up to any coach for different drills. This game has so many special features, you just have to get it for that. Right now I'm drafting at team. Also later tonight I'm gonna check out the Be A Pro game mode. Sounds interesting.
Starting Lineup: PG: Mo Williams SG: James Posey SF: Rudy Gay PF: Andrew Bynum C: Yao Ming Bench: PG: Mike Conley SG: Arron Afflalo SF: Bruce Bowen PF: Sean Williams C: Nick Collison
Don't waste your time with Be A Pro. I've heard nothing but awful things about it. Let me know if this is better than 2K9, if it is, I might give it a rental.
OKC Thunder Dynasty C - Andre Bynum PF - Brook Lopez SF - Jason Kapono SG - Vince Carter PG - Louis Williams Bench -Kyle Korver -Michael Finley -Luther Head -Reggie Evans Bynum is SICK in 09, score early then pass cross court out of double team for easy shots. Lopez is the same.
Yeah my first game I had Bynum get 6 assists, ALL to James Posey for open threes. This game just seems much better to me compared to 2k9.
If you see Lopez cheap, grab him, he is almost as good. VC is sick cause he can take over games. I need a better PG though. Kapono is awesome as well. I`m 1-1 so far. However i do turn the ball over too much. Just adjusting to game speed.
Rudy Gay has been solid for me. Having Yao and Bynum makes my big men slow, but they block shots at an alarming rate, plus they both get double teamed from time to time. James Posey is a great shooter in this game, and Mo Williams gets out quick.
To me I think it's better than 2k9. I really do enjoy this game. No sliders to worry about or anything, and none of that silly fouling crap.
