    I did not have to show ID to vote, they never even checked it. i had some ghetto ass cardboard thing with a scantron. wtf....

    I like how they taped over "san diego" fucking ghetto asses.

    Putting aside your vast fame (as maxie stated) there's the question of what ID could you show that would be fair?

    I don't know voting laws, but it would be difficult to put in a requirement for voting that could be met by the entire electorate. *shrug*

    Anyone know?

    This is an issue where the Libertarian part of me gets uncomfortable, but I am a believer in a national ID. [shudder]

    I personally don't see a problem with a national id system myself, but then I'm one of those people.

    I too, support a national ID. I think it simplifies things. Having a uniform standard to it all.

    replaces that. scannable everywhere, etc. Don't know if I like the RFID chips....i don't think i do.....right now....but i've have to see more

    But aren't drivers licenses legit enough? I mean it's still a government issued ID, but you don't need to completely overhaul a system as you would for a federal ID.

    It'd be easier to just set universal ages for driving.

    you can hopefully make it as a passport! i hate fucking taking my passport with me when i travel internationally. its a bitch to take around....easy to lose.
