Turner has been easily the best offseason acquisition. He is leading the league in yards, is averaging 5.2 ypc, is tied for 1st in rushing TDs. Abraham has been a monster too; the problem is, they are getting no pressure from anywhere else. This will likely haunt them at some point. Especially if Abraham gets hurt. Anderson and company need to step it up. And I am surprised at how solid Matt Ryan is playing - for a rookie QB.
The most surprising thing about this season to me is the offensive line. This group was terrible a year ago. They still aren't an elite group, but the improvement is there. I initially thought that Atlanta would be lucky to win three games for two reasons: worst offensive line and worst secondary. Both of those groups have played well above expectations.
Can't speak for the secondary, but when it comes to the O-line, so much has to do with good coaching and chemistry. With a new staff and a new locker room environment, those linemen may just have gotten what they needed to play as a cohesive unit. That's basically what I've seen with the Giants. 3-4 years ago we had essentially the same players on that line, and it was terrible. But they've grown and developed together into an excellent unit.
