Hey if Boone/Sean can land me either Watson w/ Wilcox I'd be very cheery we need a real PF and Wilcox is as real and as athletically gifted as it gets. Watson would give us a solid PG off the bench, just saying if mutiple GMs says they are gettable then go after them.

    Trade proposal

    Yes ? No ?

Or they might be clearing room. The rumors are those players can be gotten for cheap, hey Rod Thorn is the king at making these deals OKC clearly does not want to play these guys for w/e reason I don't care but the Nets need to investigate this.

What space does that trade provide for OKC?

Not really about cap space they want to get rid of these guys but want young talent in return. Simmons is a guy they can pawn off the bench, Hassell is a vet who can teach the young players how to play D, Boone would be a bench or a starting PF, you could add Sean in this deal it gives them 2 talented bigs cost controlled while not exceeding the contract length of the outgoing contracts.

Sorry, your trade proposition makes no sense for OKC. They take on extra bodies and extra salary.

They take the same amount of salary while releasing control of disgruntled players making a bad atmosphere there. It's something NJ needs to investigate, we've seen alot of deals like this happen where people say why they did this, OKC has 3 players not happy w/ playing time and mgmt. ready to deal, not much to figure there you take a few million stay w/ same amount of years while adding 2 more young players to their system.

Put it this way if you told OKC you can land Boone/Sean and all it takes is Wilcox and Watson and take on a few mil they might just do it.

    Proposal # 2

Wilcox in last year of contract. Hassell & Simmons both have another year on thier contracts.

That's why you would have to add Sean/Boone. It's not like your not giving something back.

Just don't see why OKC would do it, or Nets either, for that matter.
