It's coming out in 3 days. I'm definitely going to check out the reviews, before I decide to buy it or not. I do hope that it's on the same level as Modern Warfare. If I do get it, should it be for PC or PS3? My PC handled Modern Warfare really well, but it's been a year, and technology has improved.
Been playing the Beta since they released the code. Let me say, The gameplay is exactly the same as CoD4. Event the perks are the same but adapted for WWII, e.g. Instead of UV jammer you get camoflauge. Overall it's pretty good. If you enjoyed CoD4 and thought "Hmm if only it was set in WWII" then I'd get it.
I wonder if Gamestop would let me buy it for PC, and in the event it doesn't meet my expectations, I return it for a PS3 version. Assuming, I do get it.
Just say its faulty and say you'd prefer a PS3 version as Blu-ray is more reliable. My Brother has done that a few times. No Questions what so ever.
I love COD4, but I have no urge to buy this game when I still play COD4 online all the time. I know some like the WWII experience, but Modern Warfare is one of the best games I have played and I would rather player with modern weapons over WWII weapons. Cant wait for COD 6 though.
Gamestop and pretty much every video game store has a strict rule on not allowing PC game returns because of CD keys and such. Although it wouldn't hurt to try, you might get lucky
I really don't want it to rely on luck, especially if I'm spending $50 on it. I've downloaded the beta, but every time I try to boot it up, I get some retarded error. Unhandled exception...something like that.
I have disagree with you there. The PC version of COD4 had a lot of people online for as long as I can remember, and that's part of the reason I enjoyed the game as much as I did. That's also why I'm debating whether I should get it for PC or PS3. Lol, I might be getting ahead of myself, actually. We have yet to hear how good the game is, anyway.
Awesome game, so far. I'm really enjoying everything about it. The guns and the maps are really good. Some of the perks are the same, but I don't mind. It's still a whole lot of fun. I believe there are 13 maps in multiplayer. If I'm correct, COD4 had much less. My only complaint right now is the tanks in some of the maps. Honestly, their not needed. This isn't Battlefield, and I've yet to use one, despite having several opportunities. It's not like they really affect the gameplay, but their just unnecessary. I don't know what the critics have to say about the game, but I'm certainly enjoying it, probably as much as I did COD4 when it first came out. On another note, don't get this game for it's single player. I hear it's shorter than the one in COD4. That kinda sucks, but then again, single player is secondary to me in this case. I bought this game for it's multiplayer. Another thing that kicks ass is hearing Keifer Sutherland in the game. Motivation from Jack Bauer! Oh and Gary Oldman, too. "UNLEASH THE DOGS!" Speaking of which, I have to walk my dog. I'm probably going to play some of the single player when I get back. Cheers!
I'm yet to get this and was unsure about getting it. But when they stopped the Beta i started getting Withdrawel Symptons lol. Will have to get it soon
