If there is a bright spot it's Greg Oden. The guy is slowly getting into game shape and he's putting up extremely impressive numbers in limited minutes. I can't wait to see the impact he'll bring when he's in shape and plays 35 mpg. Impressive. The last three games where Oden played 20+ minutes. 15.3 PPG 9.6 PPG 3.0 BPG 65 FG% 25.3 MPG
Oden is finally getting into shape. Who thought that LMA would be the one that looks like he doesn't fit, though? He needs to find his game with Oden in the line-up.
About early in the game where he rebounded the ball and still finished on the fast break by getting a AND 1. Was that telling or what?
I'm beginning to wonder if aldridge can fit in. With oden in I'd like my pf to have more agility and handles. Anyone else feeling the same?
I agree. I'm actually surprised at LMA's lack of ball handling ability. I'm firmly in the Al Horford bandwagon.
You want Dirk? Dallas would do it. I think GO and LA need a whole season together for us to really know. Although I am sure Colin Coward could tell you after the first time down the floor. Horford ain't going anywhere.
LMA will be fine ... he's defintely way off on his game right now, but I believe fully that he'll come around. Tonight he wasn't hitting his shots and was the victim of some pretty atrocious officiating.
I don't think Aldridge and Oden have played more than 10min on the floor at the same time. Give it time. Rudy and Roy don't even look comfortable together at times. Should KP get rid of one of them? "Let the cake bake"
I think it's time to put GO in the starting lineup. If anything, so the fans can finally welcome him to Portland in the starting lineup. Man, I'm actually thinking about flying back to PDX tomorrow to catch the game.
Oh give me a break. It's a few bad games as everyone adjusts to Oden playing more. Aldridge in time should be the perfect compliment to Greg. Yes he didn't play well while he was in, but the refs took him out of the game, in this case it really is that simple. It comes down to one of two things - the refs are either completely incapable, or completely corrupt. Because nobody can call a game like that otherwise.
How about Sergio's increase in minutes? Got to admit he deserves them. The more he plays the better he gets. I am ready for Bayless to get a few more too.
You can't know that after only 10 minutes in the oven. Actually, maybe you can, idk. I'm not a cook. You get my point though.
