I wouldn't really be ok with losing if I were you. You never know what one loss can do to a teams psyche. I'm not saying you guys would collapse, but hey, you never know. And I agree, the AFC West is pathetic. The NFC North is right there with it though. Mediocrity pwns both of those divisions. It makes me ill knowing that there is a chance that an 8-8 team could make it in the playoffs over my Cowboys simply because they won a pathetic division.
Re: Week 13 Thread I've got the support of the people, Brian. Sorry. Happy Thanksgiving, though. Dallas is going to rip Seattle.
WOW Huge comeback game for the Eagles. They just beat up on a quality football team in the Cardinals. With Asante out, I didn't really believe we'd have a chance. I thought their receivers would be burning us up on every play. Guess not. Unfortunately, with Thanksgiving dinner and everything, I didn't get the opportunity to watch the game. Really glad how everything went down though, Desean Jackson once again had a terrific game. That kid is gonna be a stud, quote me on this.
So I can't say that I'm surprised that Detroit got killed yesterday. They looked horrible immediately and I was shocked they even scored. 0-16, here they come. Dallas, however, looked good. 7 sacks on Hasselback was a welcome sight, though I could have used without the Ware and Barber injuries. Good thing we don't play for another 9 days, so we have time to assess those issues. Overall though, they looked great yesterday on both sides of the ball.
Unfortunately for you guys, you're still the bottom dwellers of the NFC East and will miss the playoffs.
Do this year's Lions look worse than last year's Dolphins? I honestly can't say. Its been too long and Miami was too forgettable for me to make an accurate comparison.
