    East:

    G- Dwyane Wade (absolutely ridiculous)
G- Allen Iverson (not that he should be in the game)
    F- Lebron James
    F- Chris Bosh
    C - Dwight Howard
    Kevin Garnett
    Paul Pierce
    Vince Carter
    Joe Johnson
    Ben Gordon
    Devin Harris
    Danny Granger

    West:

    G-Kobe Bryant
    G-Chris Paul
    F-Dirk Nowitzki
    F-Tim Duncan
    C-Yao Ming
    Brandon Roy
    Carlos Boozer
    Carmelo Anthony
    Shaquille O'neal
    Amare Stoudemire
    Pau Gasol
    Chauncey Billups

Although in the West, D-Williams and Manu could still enter the fold. Also, a decent chance that Derrick Rose gets in from the Bulls in place of Ben Gordon, but they've been pretty much equals so far this season, although Gordon's been better all around, since Rose ain't play no defense.

I haven't been good this year about following the league as a whole. But Brandon Roy needs to be in the All-Star game. After Kobe he is by far the best SG in the West and deserves to make the squad.

    Wow, very nice list.
Agreed wholeheartedly, except for maybe Shaq and Nash. They're just not playing well enough this year to be in the All-Star game. How about replacing them with Nowitzki and Al Jefferson/Biedrins/Stephen Jackson?

The reason I threw Nash and Shaq in there is because I was just filling out the roster. I felt it needed another PG and C and couldn't think of anyone else. I'm sure there are better candidates, but those were just my first thoughts.

Al Jefferson is a pretty darn good center.

I would start Devin or JJ the Jet Plane, but that's me.

If by center, you mean PF, than you're absolutely correct. He may play center...but we all know he's a PF...

And like I said, this was just a first thought for my ASG rosters. I openly admit it could probably be better, but overall, I thought they were ok.

It'll be interesting to see which Bull they put in the allstar game, Rose or Gordon, since there will probably only be room for one of them.

Yes, Lebron didn't make it as a rookie, but Lebron was horrible his rookie season, while Rose is doing quite well.

LeBron wasn't horrible. He almost got that horrifyingly bad team in to the playoffs.

For that matter...I'd say LeBrons 20/5/5 was awfully impressive for an 18 year old....especially one that didn't have a jump shot.

Lebron James had a 48.8 TS% his rookie season. Carlos Boozer and Zydranus Ilgauskus were the reason the Cavs were close to making the playoffs, not Lebron. Although Lebron certainly helped a bit by stepping up for big games here and there. It would have been a crime if the NBA put Lebron in the allstar game with how poorly he played.

Eh, to each their own here I guess.

I'm not a huge LeBron fan, but I find it hard to believe that team goes anywhere that year without him. While he didn't have a great TS% that year, he absolutely rejuvenated that franchise and brought them back from the dead. He gave reasons for fans to come to games again. Carlos Boozer and a Big Z weren't going to do that...neither was Ricky Davis and Dajuan Wagner.

Beyond that...they improved their win total from what...19 the year before they LeBron to 35 or 37 the year they got him? I realize Boozer did improve (went from a 10/8 guy to a 16/11 guy), but the main thing was the addition of LeBron. He was the reason for it, not Boozer, not Ilgauskus.

Don't be surprised if neither of them make it. And Rose clearly has the better chance.

Neither of them should make it.

    AI, Wade, James, KG, Howard

Johnson, Carter, Pierce, Bosh, Ilgauskas, Harris, Granger. That's the roster.

AI has no place on the All Star roster right now. He's played like hot garbage since going over to the the Pistons and Rose has been absolutely fantastic this year.

True, so true....unfortunatly, it's AI's name that will get him the votes he'll need to get in....all the people who vote without actually knowing who's earned the right to....sad....just sad

Can't really disagree... Iverson hasn't played well at all this season. But He's still my favorite player of all time, and knows how to put on a show, so im voting for him.

Wow. I'm not going to call anyone out but a lot of people don't seem to think that Dirk deserves to the make allstar team, but Melo does? Ridiculous.
