Is he going to play in the NBA again? David Lee had 37 points and 22 rebounds last game, I don't see him losing PT to Curry.
If he plays, I doubt that it's for the Knicks. He doesn't it in D'Antoni's system at all (not in my opinion at least). As Mr. J said, he needs to get his fat self in shape and then maybe he can get some minutes or Walsh can find a way to get rid of him.
i was thinking that he might be able to be moved for a player with one less year and alot less skill. also, marbury could be moved for a player/s with 2 years left as it would not affect the 2010 plan.
I think someone will give him a shot, it just won't be the Knicks. Like others have said, he's out of shape and doesn't fit the system.
Re: Eddie Curry I'd be shocked...he seems like the type that would rather sit back and get the money. He's not going to get anything remotely close to what he'd be getting paid then.
I agree with Todd. Eddy has never had too much motivation (aside from his contract year), so I highly doubt he opts out or demands a trade because he's getting frustrated about not playing. I'm pretty sure he doesn't really care because he's still getting his paycheck, and he's not going to ever see a payday that big again.
I think the Spurs should take a shot at Curry. They seem like the type of organization that might be able to get something out of him.
Don't tell that to the BBFers. They'll curse you off, call you a troll, and tell you Curry's a gymnast.
