Hey guys... i really need other people's opinion in this...

So i've been betting on some games lately and have earned around $1000... but ive hit a bad streak and went 0-3 in my last 3 games pulling down my total win purse to $700...

The last of those losses was with the LAkers - Indiana game... the spread was Indiana +8.5... we all know what happened there...

The next Laker game is tonight... agianst the sixers... the spread is LAL -8 vs. Philly... do you think our boys can pull through?

This will be my last bet btw before the Lakers - Celtics game on Xmas day. Im gonna use the money to buy gifts for friends LOL

But the Lakers beat their opponents by an average of 13 pts i think... with the loss thats down to around 10... adding the fact that the sixers arent that good (i think the raptors are better) and that the lakers would wanna make up for the loss... i think thats enough to cover 8 pts... but thats just me...

    anymore people with their opinions?

not counting the clippers game, which is basically a home game, their average margin of road victory is 6.6 points. they are 4-1 in these games. tonight is a back to back.

unless you only bet on the lakers, there might be better bets out there to be had.

good point with the 6.6 on the road stat.

im also thinking about the Was +7 vs. por and Phx +5 vs. Noh.

CP3 is known to explode against top PG's, but its still a coin toss . Was is is very unpredictable. Im not feeling the other spreads...

So im only thinking about the Sizers - Lakers game for now. :NOTMARIS:

point spreads are tough because a game can be close, and then balloon to 9 points in the last minute with free throws, and vice versa, a game can be a blowout, and then they can catch up in the last minute with uncontested layups.

You guys will destroy the 76ers, because you have good big men. The 76ers make their living off of offensive rebounding.

Although I don't recommend betting on that Lakers vs. Celtics game.

Im hoping that the Lakers - Celtics game will have an even spread... therefore i can simply cheer for the lakers to win and not win by a specific margin... i honestly think that the Lakers will have the + in points

Yes, spreads are hard to predict... especially when the m*fia have their say in it... and they actually do...

Its just a matter of reading or figuring out their style and incorporating it with the skill level of teams.

anyway, im going with Philly +8. 70% of the consensus voted for the Lakers to win... that leaves a window of opportunity for the bookies... if somehow the lakers win but not enough to cover the spread then they would have taken money from 70% of those who voted... LOL i dunno... this is my last bet anyway hahaha

First instinct is always the best way to go. But then again, I don't gamble.
