Bynum played well. When he is getting touches in the low post, the Lakers have been fine, I don't know why we go away from it. I realy don't. It's like our guards put up an act for the first quarter, then we just stop once the passes have been sufficient enough.

Teams like the Celtics and Cavs deserve to talk shit against us, cause we have played like shit. No defense. Jumpshots for 3/4 of the game. It's fucking pathetic.

So yeah. Boston is way better than us, and if we continue to play the same way, we're all going to be really disappointed on Christmas day. Don't believe me? Tune to ESPN right now. Look at their defense and compare it to ours. With a 13 point lead at half, they came out and played with the same aggression and have stifled the Blazers to the tune of an 18 point lead three minutes in.

Sorry, they're better than us right now. Lakers need to find a fix and do it fast.

You are right. However, if we can start playing like we did in the beginning of the year, before that Detroit game, I think we have the upper hand.

By the way, Kobe and bench shot a combined 14 of 40 against the fucking Wizards.

We shot poorly, but we still scored 105 points. I think the entire blame lies with the defense. Lamar's, in particular, makes me want to die.

My point wasn't that we shot poorly, more like the selection of our shots. We took jumpshots leading to low percentage, yet we then persisted to shoot more jumpers. We need more drives and points in the paint.

That's only once facet that bothers me, I only touched on the shooting cause I was assuming that we all already agreed that the defense was just shit.

That's fair. You and I simply differ in the importance we place on the poor shooting and shot selection. I don't think it's much of an issue at all if, despite the poor performance, we still scored 106 points. I just wish the team didn't focus as much on offense as it does. I think we're fine as far as that goes.

No, what I meant was I still think defense is a major concern for us, but I thought that I should talk about something else seeing as how we all know that our defense needs to improve....if I did a rant on it, it would be like beating a dead horse. At this point they gotta go do it.

As a coach myself, I prefer good defense any day.
