Loving Bayless' hustle and grit ... fuck, can we please see more of him?

Roy had better be hurt, because the bench did their job by cutting the lead to 13 and then started to run out of gas.

You know Bayless is one tough fearless player. It's to bad we can find more time for Bayless.

Bayless is showing he deserves playing time.

I don't have a problem with leaving in the players that got us back into the game. Except for maybe Fyre.

This is going to be too little, too late and I'm going to wonder what the hell Nate was thinking by not putting his starters back in, or even Przybilla.

You don't need Roy back in. The bench brought them back and Nate should leave them in. Roy and the rest of the starters had their chance for over 3 qtr's.

Steve makes clutch 3's but I am sure Jerryd would make most of those open ones too

Roy has 8 FT attempts in 26 minutes and Nate sits him down the stretch while the Celtics are in the penalty.

The message I am getting is that Nate gave up on the game, and the vacant look in his eyes I mentioned earlier is all the proof I need.

Man, even TO is hustling on D. It was a good effort, too bad he fouled the guy.

The bench did their job and are now going against the Celtic starters.

Flame away, but Nate gave up on a winnable game. That cannot be excused.

But how do you explain Frye and Ike in instead of Przy?

I feel much better with the Blazers making this run at the end and think the Blazers will feel better about themselves and less likely to let this carry over to the next game(s).

Good thought Jerryd, but just a touch too high.

Rudy missing that 3 was huge... it would have cut the lead to 8 and it would have let Oden foul out a minute or two later. :) Oden did have a couple of nice no-calls that kept him in there for longer than he probably deserved.

Roy was just... off tonight. He seemed more concerned with talking than playing. I wouldn't be shocked if the injury earlier in the game was bugging him.

The shooting guards for the Blazers were pretty bad tonight. 5-18 from the field (as of this writing) including 0-5 from threes.

Also: KG's behavior is just bizarre. I don't know that making his teammates cry is a very good move. Haha.

I like how Jerryd didn't let KG intimidate him at the end there.

Why? Roy got benched after leading the team to 6 straight wins, Oden fouled out, and Nate gave up on the game.

This is the worst game I can remember in some time. Is Nate losing the team?

Come on, do you really think it was winnable? We got back semi back in it against their subs, but once their starters came in it was the same as before and our starters wouldn't have changed that if anything they would have had dead legs. Save them for the next game.
