What's the big deal? Nobody would be bitching and moaning if we'd won the game. And I don't see what makes KG a 'punk' for this strategy of trying to get in the heads of our young players.
Is that what he's doing? I plead ignorance on this topic, so please help me out. If Garnett is acting like a dog, isn't he humiliating himself? How does this humiliate his opponent? I think it's a stupid thing to do, but I don't see how it makes anyone except Garnett look ridiculous.
I watched the end of the game this morning and don't think it is as big of a deal as it seemed. Jeff Van Gundy is hilarious sometimes.
Why he gotta do it to younger players then? Why can't he man up and try to get in Joels face like that? Joel would punch his fucking teeth out.
Good point. But KG's intentions were to humiliate the opponent. And to all his little followers in Boston, that is what he did. To us, he humiliated himself.
I like Ray Allen, he's pure class. I love Rondo's game. I really wish the Blazers had a backup PF who played like Boston's do. I was cheering for the Celtics in the finals last year. I respect the (albeit often annoying) passion of Boston fans. But my god do I hope something bad happens to Garnett.
There was a thread debating whether KG is an asshole a few weeks ago. I think last night should clear that up. The guy is, and has been, a dick, with a capital D.
I know on the other board I once just woke up and posted how much I hate him. Not after any incident I just hated him and wanted to say it. It turned into a pretty long thread about him. I hate that guy so much.
He's done this a lot apparently. Ridnour, Calderon, Bayless, West etc. Yet he's never been called for a tech. What a punk...
He punched a University of Minnesota player who was a massive Garnett fan, as he grew up in Minnesota, because said player was schooling Garnett in a pickup game.
