    I think Kos with a full training camp still loses to Alves but it would of been more competitive of a match. That knockout on Yoshida gave me goosebumps though.

    A few notes;

    Johnny Rees has been released by the UFC after his 2nd straight loss in the octagon (also his only 2 fights in the octagon)

    Yoshida was released from the hospital today with only a concussion.. which is not too bad considering how KTFO'd he was.

    Jonathan Goulet went to the hospital for a brain scan and Brandon Wolf only received stitches for the multiple knees to the head he got. I would assume he also went through a lot of ice to get that swollen head down too ;)

    I was being a smart ass.
    I wonder how many bolts and pins and rods he will have.

    A report has Corey Hill being out of commission for 1 and 1-1/2 years due to his badly broken leg. That sucks.

    Here are some pertinent gifs...

    That armbar was nuts. So was the leg breaking. Talk about bad luck.

    When Cantwell is doing the armbar you can see Hassan throw his own leg over which actually makes things much worse. Just inexperience and more balls than brains I think.

    Wasn't Hassan suppose to be a blackbelt? I guess its that never tap out attitude. Similar to many japanese. We've had fighters from Shooto come and fight the local boys here on Guam and those Japanese guys are tough. They rather get their arm broken or pass out before tapping out... Its nuts. Enson Inoue style!!!

    UFC Fights for the Troops raised an unbelievable $4-million for the IFHF and their center. Kudos.
