Holy fuck, how does JO not get that rebound? He looked like a friggin' cripple walking after the ball.

Tough call on Bosh, but I would continue to go to him, there's no way Anderson can guard him.

...and they just replaced Anderson with Yi.

Yeah it's been a pretty sloppy game for both sides. In these situations, it's usually the team with the most hustle that can get the gritty win.

Seriously Jigga, is this not the laziest rebounding team you've ever seen? Friggin' terrible. We play good defense and then look like we have concrete shoes when there's a loose ball.

I'd go back 2 possessions to where Brook got blocked by JO only to have the ball kicked out to Harris for the jumpshot. There, it looked like the Raptors had really collapsed into the paint, leaving the wing players unchecked.

Additionally, being so close if someone tips the ball up, rather than get the rebound cleanly, there's a chance that it'll fly over the mob in the middle and end up in the hands of those free wing players.

Although skilled, Brook should not command a double team when he's guarded by JON.

Yeah, look at the paint when any Nets player shoots the ball: 4 bodies in the paint. When the Raptors are shooting you'll usually only see the C, PF, and SF fighting for the rebound (at least over the past couple of possessions).

And yes, neither of our PF's can guard Bosh :D

They might be conscious of the last time they matched up against each other. I remember Brook actually sticking it to JO and scoring with ease. It's not happening tonight though.

One of our commentators is getting all angry about how Yi is ahead of Bosh in voting when Bosh is schooling so easily. Quite amusing.

I'm not sure why the Raptors are running Zone. It's really been our jumpshooting that's been hot lately (Hassel, Carter, Yi, Harris). The last possession the Zone swarmed Brook and caused him to foul. It's effective, but overkill, and I'd rather check the Nets shooters.

There's a day-and-night difference between VC in the last game and VC tonight. He's executed terribly. Lucky us.

Are they going to complain about Calderon ahead of Devin? :D

It's a difficult issue, as both sides have a reason to complain. So far the Nets announcers aren't touching the issue.

    Jamario Moon > Fast Break.

    EW Graham.

They won't bring it up, but to be fair they heaped a tonne of praise on Harris in the beginning of the game and picked him to be MIP. I've loved how balanced and reasonable our commentating has been since that douchebag Chuck Swirsky left.

They're playing a soft zone. I think Triano is annoyed with our poor rebounding and doesn't wnat guards to leak out like they do when we play man.

I saw the last Nets-Raptors game via the TSN feed and gotta say I was impressed by how much it had improved.

haha maybe the Nets feed is too impartial: they're showing highlights of the Raptors plays :(
