Calling people "haters" is insulting and divisive. It's not going to change anyone's mind. It's only going to piss people off or bully some people into not posting. Neither of those things are good. I am excited about the direction of the team, and I am still convinced that Oden is going to be a best. But I am not an Outlaw fan. Does that make me a hater? Ought I not post negative opinions about him, no matter how ineffective he is? And while the team has only lost 3 of the last 4 games, how long of a losing streak would this team have to go on before posters referring to others as "haters" acknowledge that this team isn't quite as good as some here thought/think? Didn't they recently go on a long extended winning streak? I can't recall you acknowledging that this team isn't quite as bad as you've guessed they'd be... STOMP
To be honest the team is about as good as I thought they'd be. Given the injuries to Oden and Webster, I'd say that actually have overachieved a bit. As far as calling people "haters", it seems that a lot of people take this forum way too seriously. I know everyone is a fan. I just don't care for the extended bout of negativity that everyone else seems to be tripping on right now. It will all work out. It always does, at least for me. Have fun and enjoy the games. Our time will come.
I never thought they'd be bad. I also never thought that they'd win at a 67% clip, either. Based on the hot start and the difficult schedule we've had to date, I think that a lot of people currently do. While I am willing to admit the team has been better than I'd anticipated, I don't think it's fair for others to attack those of us who point out that the team isn't as good as others are giving it credit for being.
