After watching the last several games, it has been very obvious all the teams the Blazers are playing have scouted the Boston game. They all do the exact same thing, to different degrees because of talent.

    1. Teams are pushing the ball down our throat off of misses and the Blazers are not getting back on D.

    2. Early double teams on Roy and Aldridge, because it keeps Portland from getting into it's offense.

    3. Make Portland beat you with 3's. Lately, it has been live by the 3, die by the 3. Mostly dying.

What bothers me the most, is it seems either the coaching staff has not figured out how to iron out these problems (such as having Aldridge attack the hoop before a double team comes, where he had huge success the other night when he did it.) or is it the players have been talked to, but they are dropping the ball and not paying attention out on the floor.

    Oh and please:

Take the stupid offensive set where Greg Oden/Pryzbilla get the ball at the 3 point line out of the playbook. That is absolutely asinine.

    4. Work hard on getting back on D. That would solve a lot of problems.

All the more reason why Rudy should be inserted into the starting unit or another gifted offensive player needs to be traded for to play at the 3 or the 1.

Actually it isn't. That should be a high-percentage play for us once the guard and him can learn to connect better as they both head to the hoop.

    Good points.

Funny how shooting so many 3's leads to giving up a ton of fast break buckets for the opposing team. Wonder why Nate hasn't really caught on to this one yet?

It would be nice to see a player other than Roy be able to get to the rim and either finish or get the foul. Corey Maggette would be a great fit in the starting lineup since he could slow the pace down and keep the defense honest when they try to double Roy.
