OT: Techical questions

    Question for some of the more technical A/V guys on here:

    What's the best way to transfer DVR'd video to be able to post clips on here? there are plenty of times I'd like to pull a clip to talk about it on here, or to explain what I mean. I have DVR, a DVD recorder, computer able to be hooked up, etc...but finding a clip, queuing it up, setting up the machine, burning a dvd for a 15 second clip seems really inefficient. Anyone?

    I am not familiar with DVR recorders. Are there any USB ports on them? There has got to be a way you can transfer data from the DVR recorder to a computer without having to burn to DVD.
