Kerr and Porter don't like him. He's clearly a huge upgrade to El Nacho...

Frye, Sergio and Cash for Barbosa.

    Get. er. done.

I like barb but if we were moving away from serg I'd like bay to get his shot. He deserves it and we need to know what he can do

    How about this rotation:

    Oden - Joel
    LMA - Outlaw
    Batum - Rudy
    Roy - Bayless
    Blake - Barbosa

Webs and Diogu fight for scraps.

The ONLY problem with moving Sergio is the mental toll it might make on Rudy. Sergio and Aldridge are also extremely close.

As an upgrade though I would love it Barbosa would be a great fit on our team

I get that and agree with it partly, but this is the NBA; players have to get used to seeing their friends moved around in trades. Rudy's a pro and you would hope that he would see as many positives as there would be personal negatives: For one, Sergio might end up in a better situation and get a chance to really flourish in a different system.

I'd be all for this deal since I think Barbosa would compliment Roy very well and the Suns look like they sure could use a pass first point guard and Sergio plays at the same breakneck speed they seem to have re-embraced.

As for J-Bay I really think he's going to develop into a special player in time and maybe if/when Blake is let go he'll get that opportunity to get into the rotation next year.
