If you are a true nets fan, you should give Yi some credit, if you don't, you just not a true fan, why did frank give Yi the whole first quarter to defense Dirk? and Yi did a excellent job to hold Dirk just hit one shot in the first qurater, you just too bias, it's the key to win this game when Yi destroy Dirk's rhythm in the first quarter and Yi continue to do a good job in other three quarters guarding Dirk, it isn't luck, Yi did it twice last year.

And the Knicks lost in a blow out. Anyone see that troll Mr J. tonight? Not in the mood to comment?

    Good times, good times.

Nice to watch Yi step up. Yi and Dirk match up well, similar styles. Yi understands him and held him to poor shooting. 26 is a lot of points (10 of them off of free throws not all from fouls commited by Yi) but 36% will not win a game. I would say Yi's defense is one of the "keys to victory".

Dirk shot 37% against Yi and ANYONE who knows the game understands that that figure is far more important than him scoring 24 points. He is their primary weapon and Yi was all over him, making it difficult for him to get a shot off. The same thing happened in the Germany-China game in the Olympics. Yi forced him to work for every shot and then in the end, forced the critical turnover.

Yi is 21 (that purported identification is a fake Chinese elementary school ID card). He is still adjusting to the NBA and life in the US. He's up and down, which is to be expected.

Since last February, the Nets traded Collins to the Grizz, Kidd and Wright to the Mavs, RJ to the Bucks and Marcus Williams to the Warriors. The Nets have a better record than all but the Mavs and they are only one game behind the Mavs pace. THAT's the bottom line (and it wont change when Krstic joins the Thunder.)

You guys both provide great comic relief for not only the Nets board, but the entire forum. And I actually saw the game and posted in this thread a couple of times. The Nets did have a good game tonight. I'm sure this is mostly due to Devin playing his former team.

But it's amazing how much flip-flopping is done here. One minute "we suck" the next minute "we should win our next 6 games". One minute Yi doesn’t suck, the next minute there’s a thread dedicated to how bad he is, which is something I have pointed out several times before the thread. I guess that’s trolling too, right? :biglaugh:

I don’t think you understand the meaning of the word "troll". Since you seem to get your feelings hurt every time I criticize the Nets for losing 20 point leads, maybe you shouldn’t post anymore? Your own homie, DevinNets34, said and I quote "This entire team except Harris, all suck". Is he trolling too? The Nets are far from a flawless team (though you might disagree or might just randomly bring up the Knicks) and I have the right to criticize them.

But congratulations on the win. Enjoy tonight since tomorrow you might be talking about how this team "all sucks".

I went on the Knicks board to troll, it was crazy. I was the only person who posted the entire day. So dead there, you're better off just hanging here. Better than hearing the echos.

The difference between you coming on and posting here with negative comments and a Nets fan posting here criticizing a player or the team is you do it to try and rub it in after a disappointing Nets loss or performance where as a fan of this team is doing it out of frustration from a loss or making a point where somethings needs to be improved.

I am aware there are holes on this team (starting forward positions, defense, inexperience/young team) but I also think there is potential if some changes were made to give Harris and Carter some help who have been playing great this season carrying the team. And DevinNets34 is not my "homie" and I rarely would even bring up the Knicks if your sorry ass wasn't posting here trying to troll.

Grow up. Catching feelings over the internet is a bad thing. And even if you feel that I post here to rub in a loss, deal with it. Though I don't always come here to talk trash, it is very much allowed on this site and isn't considered "trolling". On another note, there's an entire thread called "Why do you hate the Knicks so?" in this very forum. You don't see me catching feelings over that now do you?

I guess you aren't built for this forum thing then? :dunno:

The fact that you are still referencing that Knicks topic that was posted (on the Nets board) it seems that you have very much been catching feelings over it. You know, it's one thing when the Knicks play the Nets and you show up to talk trash, but showing up time after time like you do here, it seems you have nothing better to do then trying to annoy people. There's a word for that...

But like I said, I don't always come here to trash talk, anyway. You don't seem to know the difference between constructive criticism and trash talking.

I'm glad there's some Yi supporters. I actually have a lot of faith in this kid. Are you the same poster that thinks he isn't being used correctly and that he should play in the post more? If so, I absolutely agree.

I also thank Stro supporters. I hope he comes back soon and gives us more good games. I'm surprised there's no dedicated Jarvis Hayes' fans. I think he's our most valuable player off the bench. It actually pisses me off that no one other than Devin and Dooling looks to dish it to him, but I'm in awe how he always finds a way to hustle and get his shots in.

One of my favorite moments of the night was seeing Simmons coming in during garbage time. I know it's sad, but Frank's love for him really holds us back. Hassel makes smarter decisions and plays better D than this scrub. Don't bother trying to showcase him. No one is going to want him. I'd rather see Sean out there.

Mr. J the whole troll argument is emphasized by that Starmatic sig. I'm not saying you're a troll but that is definitely something a troll would have in their sig. Are you related to him or something? I can't wait to play you guys in MSG, Nate/Harrington are insane this year.
