As much as ive heard about this "tough schedule" i think reality is starting to set in. Regardless of the schedule, its gonna be very hard to make the playoffs in the west. Blazers know it, the league knows it, and most fans are starting to see it. The next 5-6 games might make or break our season in a sense. Tor, Bos, NO, @LA, Det, Chi. We need 4-2 and 3-3 at best.... Dallas seems to be cruising and the Jazz always explode come January. The case could be made we were playing better a year ago then w eare right now which is kinda amazing....while.....scary.
after these next 4 games or so we enter our "cream puff" portion of our schedule and Utah's schedule gets substantially more road heavy. The general consensus seemed to be that if the team could get through the first two months at or around .500 we'd be in good shape.
If you are putting the success or failure of our season on the next 6 games........... YOU ARE CRAZY!!!! It's official!
at worst? and if they do go 3-3 or better you'll be ending these chicken little rants and be deeming the season a success? I find that hard to believe. also, your claims of what most Blazer fans see/believe are based on what exactly? You live on the East coast right? STOMP
He means that the next six games are the make-or-break games until the next crisis point...which will be the six games after that.
Or... An 0-6 run could be just what we need to get a better effort from a few players/coaches, ultimately leading to a 20-0 streak.
I predict that having one of the eight best records in the Western Conference will get the Blazers into the playoffs.
