So nice to be able to come to the board and not see "the sky is falling" (or the cake is falling) posts.

It may be the time of year (Christmas break, bowl games, etc.) but there don't seem to really be any extreme posts either way tonight.

Must be HCP and Julius' posts. Thanks guys.

Re: Ahhh! Blazers won - No Mixum

Mods, can you change the thread title?

I shouldn't be singling out a particular poster. Just leave it at "Ahhh! Blazers Won".

    Thanks.

One does enjoy peace and quiet, doesn't one? :ghoti:

A great game. Even if Greg end up being 3rd among the "Big 3"... dang, what a big 3!

Great second half! Fantastic 4th quarter!

Remember guys, lets ignore all those "Debbie Downers" when they get a chance to pull out their chicken little threads in the future.

Wow, a talented team won a game at home against a less talented team. Everyone remember this night, Nate McMillan should be given a raise.

I laugh every time people pop up to shovel their agenda onto the forum. So let me get this straight, if the team loses it's Nate's fault if they win it's also because he sucks? Makes sense. :NOTMARIS:

LOL. I agree. I think the biggest joke in all of sports (any sport) is how fans think they know if a coach is good or not. Sure they can monitor the substitution patterns and the win/loss column. But unless you are there in practice to see what goes on.........you know very little about the subject.

No, it is because of the post right above mine which I should have quoted as it was in direct response to it.

How so? College football fans or NBA basketball fan know what goes on in practice? Whether or not coaches work hard on making their players better? How do they know if it is the coaches fault (Or credit) if a player gets better or worse. They are not there. They can't. They don't even know what is being said during a time out. You have no fucking idea if Nate is a good coach or not. I don't either. We can only guess.

I haven't eaten a piece of shit with mayo on it but I have a pretty good idea that it wouldn't be good.

Is there a record kept on which coach is best in practice? If so, how many practice championships has Nate McMillan won?

I guess I don't have any idea which players are good because I haven't seen them in practice either. Wow.

Well, don't ever bitch about someone fucking up your car when they work on it. Because I will defend anyone who works on cars because I work on them and I know people who do and I don't like people talking bad about my boys.

If you can't tell, it pisses me off that the team wins a game and people are seemingly saying basically "na na na na na na, we won, everything is perfect you bitchers got served"

It was about your perspective, that was the idea of your thread wasn't it? You brought it back up in this thread didn't you?

I was being sarcastic anyway, because if someone fucks up your car they shouldn't be allowed to work on them if that is their normal pattern. I was pretending to stick up for my peers just because they were MY peers.

Thank you for sharing how pissed off you are about a win with all of us, and in this thread, your post is ironic.

I'm pretty sure you don't even know what that means, though. :devilwink:

It would be ironic if I said I was disappointed that the team I root for won the game. Maybe you should look up the definition of the word yourself.

You and Alanis Morissette would make a good couple....*edited: No personal attacks*

I wouldn't work on your VW cabriolet if you paid me more money than your boyfriend made in a year.
