lol....Howard is an utter BEAST!!! It would take two Yi's and double the gym time to equal one bicep....lol But on the real...it's not that he doesn't have the willingness to play inside, just some players are equiped to do it on a nightly basis. And you right...who would be able to pass it inside to him?...lol
So you are saying Nets have already realized that the trade is lopsided and only playing Yi to not make themselves look foolish?
no, no, no....lol....I'm saying that to some it might look that way...I think he's playing Yi to give him minutes to develop. Quit trying to key in on things to start arguments.... The question I responded to was, "...but why are people under the impression that he is forced to start Yi ?" I was giving a possible reason why some might think he is
Actually, Yi play not so bad in this game, he play a good third quarter, frank even cheer with him in timeout, I say it again, Yi's defense is far from poor, if you don't agree, you can ask frank through media or reporter, I think frank would give you another version answer, coach's angle always different. If you say Yi isn't a good player right now, I agree, but he isn't that bad actually, he just isn't a star right now, he is a not so bad not so good player, he has some advantage but you guys select pass it, he has some shortcomings you guys select to blame him hard, it just what i saw. he is tall, he is quick, he can jump, he has a not so bad touch, so if he not so lazy, he would always give the team some help instead of harm, I am very very very sure that, you guys just need to be patient and be objectivity, Yi maybe never become a great player, but there is no way he would be a garbage.
Aside from the obvious "OMG WHERE'S RJ?!?!!?!?!" problem with Yi, my biggest issue is with the fact that, no matter how well he plays, he's going to cost too much to re-sign, because of his crazy Asian fanbase. Once he hits FA, he's just not going to be a good bargain anymore, at least as far as the product ON the court goes.
