That we would be 2-2 after playing the Celtics,Hornets,Lakers and Pistons. Even with Brandon I would have said VERY COOL! But the fact that we split those 4 games WITHOUT our best player is awesome.
Great, great point HCP! Great point. I'll take it. And now... the "EASY" schedule begins. Let's take care of it.
Oh, so you're saying Roy's our best player? His stats the last four games have not been much to write home about.
Except for the fact that he has zero turnovers in that span, and that he hasn't missed a shot either.
I believe we are going to be alright. The only tough game over the next 9 is Cleveland and that's at home. It's a long season boys and there will be ups and downs. Just keep supporting the team!
No, you misunderstood. It is going to fatten the children. So that we can eat them. It's all good. barfo
Wait . . . the sky isn't falling after all? I'm so confused. One day it's falling, the next it's not. What is a level-headed fan supposed to do?
Portland tends to play to the level of their competition more times than not. Hopefully Nate pulls his head out of his ass and realizes that JerryD Bayless is a player that brings the type of intensity needed to beat the so called easy teams easier. People always say Portland doesn't have the ability to put their foot on the throat of their opponent when they are down, but Bayless does.
COOL!!! except for one thing... What if I told you that when we were 14-6 that a month later we'd be 21-14, Brandon would be injured, and we'd be 1/2 game from being out of the playoffs.
I'm not sure which people say that . . . Ptd has had their fair share of blow outs this season. I wonder how they beat Sac by over 30 points, without Bayless and his killer instinct.
I hear it from the Mikes on every telecast on league pass. The Blazers can beat teams badly, but there are a lot of games where they get a lead of 8-10 in the 4th and struggle to hang on. The Mikes always say it's because they don't have that kilelr instinct. Bayless IMO does
Well the Mikes see things through Blazer eyes. If the Blazers go on a run, it is because of their talent. If the other team goes on a run, it is because the Blazers lack killer instinct. But in the Blazers last five wins . . . last night they came from behind in the 4th, they came from behind in the 4th against Boston, they pulled away from toronto in the 4th, beat a good Denver team by 9, outscored Phx in the 4th to win. They have also beat Miami by 30+, Sac by 30+, and Chicago by 30+. Personally I don't think the issue is killer instict as much as consistency.
