Mike Rice called tonight's victory "the biggest win of the season." It was definitely a big win without Brandon Roy--and it halted a 7-game winning streak by the Pistons.

    Here's a picture of Outlaw's winning shot, and a few others . . .

I'd call the Celtic win the biggest.

We've had several big wins this season, but this one is right up there.

I'd say the Suns or the Rockets was the biggest.

I feel that the Celtics game was the biggest win of the season. But this one is right up there also, along with the Houston game and the Suns game. These 4 wins are definitely unforgettable.

I agree. Winning in Detroit and Orlando were also big. Being excited about beating the Celtics is so passe nowadays but it was still a fun win. (Remember when everyone was trying to guess when the Celtics winning streak would end. Anyone wanna guess when the LOSING streak will end? Next up: Cleveland.) The Rockets win was great because it was a buzzer beater and the Suns game was huge because of Roy's 52 and we hadn't beaten them in forever. Tonight's was fun because of Outlaw's big shot and that we came from 14 down against a team that was playing very well against us despite not having Rip or Sheed. Sweep!

Oh, the Nuggets win, while ugly, was probably our most "important" win because they're ahead of us in our division.

Oh, and thanks for the new avatar pic!

Celtic game was the biggest upset, but this might have been the most important considering the position we are at in the playoff race and where we could have been if we lost depending on what other teams did. Of course the next game is the most important now.

The next game is always the most important to me.

But for biggest wins, I'd say: Boston, Houston, Phoenix, @ Detroit, @ Orlando, Denver, and maybe this game vs Detroit.

The Celtics are proving to be really over rated right now. Charlotte just beat them for crying out loud.

I think the importance of this game was in how it was won. In the first half I was continually thinking that there was no chance we could pull this out. Our offense stank and they were just too organized defensively (and Prince bailed them out time and again by just refusing to miss). But we won! Even after giving up the lead in the fourth.

One incredibly important play that mustn't be forgotten was Rudy's corralling of the rebound on the play before Outlaw's shot. It was going straight to McDyess and Rudy flew out of nowhere to wrench it away.

IMO, what made this game especially big was that the team had lost two consecutive. Two games in a row is no biggee in the NBA, 3 is. True, all were good teams, but it would have underlined that the Blazers can't "play with the big boys". Now, they can look forward to Roy coming back, and a win over GSW (very likely) would restore a ton of confidence leading into the road trip.

I think it's the way they played.

I called the Toronto win fools gold because they didn't play the type of game that is indusive of winning basketball teams. The Boston and Detroit games were different. They pounded the ball inside and swarmed on defense. Had they played this way against the Hornets we might have won. Win or lose though this is the type of game we need to play every night. At some point with outr talent we will start winning consistantly.
