I feel like you guys play too much NBA2k or fantasy basketball or something. You have to have a certain balance on a team, and there is no way Phil Jackson starts BG next to Kobe. He wouldn't start in Boston, he probably wouldn't start in Cleveland given that teams commitment to defense. I don't think he'd even start in Orlando or NO probably given that they already have so many good shooters. I go down the list of teams by standings and I don't see anywhere where I am sure he would start until MN. Denver maybe, but they already tried that with AI so I'm not sure they'd go back to that.

Gordon would start in all four of those places imo. He would make a murder playing with a guy like Lebron, Kobe, or Dwight. He'd make a killing playing off those guys.

If the Bulls want to be dicks and not offer Gordon much, and othe teams just hold their cap space, you can bet on Gordon signing with a team like Cleveland or the Lakers for the MLE over the Bulls for a little bit more.

Gordon can go out and get something around 3 years, $20 million with a team like the Lakers, and then be rewarded with the big contract he deserves in 3 years, instead of staying around messing with the Bulls. A guy like Kobe would be forever grateful for a guy like Gordon to come in on the MLE, and would make sure Lakers management took care of BG.

I almost wish the season were over so we could see how this plays out. It's more interesting than how the team is playing right now, that's for sure. I disagree with you, Lamar Odom is a case in point. Where's his extension? The lakers seem to be playing hardball with him, don't they? But either way, it will be an interesting off season.

Lamar Odom stinks though. 8.9 PPG on 52.6 TS%...that's horrible. There is a good reason why Odom isn't getting an extension.

I guess, but is Odom even shooting enough? That % can come from like 6-8 shots or something like that

Hmm, a guy without a true position, very talented offensively, unhappy with his contract situation. Seems like I've heard that story before somewhere...
