considering it was down the stretch in a close game by a 6'3 rookie PG struggling for minutes, i'd say so. not much makes me jump off my chair these days, but that did.

    Yi is an all-star?

I realize that you think Yi will get voted in the game, but he won't. Garnett will get in.
    Doesn't LaMarcus Aldridge also suck?

Are you serious? Retarded coaching? He took Greg out because he couldn't do anything to stop the pick an droll. Hey look, his retarded coaching of benching Oden happened in the second half, right about when we went on a run and won this game. I want Oden to develop as well, and take his lumps, but I don't feel like watching him shove a player in the back as they are making a layup to commit his first foul. That's not helping his progression. He will have good nights, and he will have bad nights, and we will play him accordingly. He will develop into a great player because he is one, or has that potential. However, we aren't running a minor league developmental team. If he is playing poorly, why hurt your club for it? That's stupid, an dwill draw a ton of resentment from guys playing hard, and playing better.

sorry, but that wasn't it. there were a few times in oden's limited minutes where he had very good position but the blazers just didn't get him the entry pass.

however lopez "blanketing" oden did result in lopez picking up 2-3 fouls.

in general maybe, but oden looked very tired tonight and wasn't doing squat.

We were lucky NJ had no one in the paint to stop JB and Roy from scoring, because down the stretch theywere matching us layup for layup..Greg would have affected some of these shots.

    Great win!

Bayless -- Welcome to the NBA, and to ESPN's TOP 10.

Scimmed a few posts in this thread, some of you really should seek out therapy. I'm being totally serious here. I thought McMillan's substitutions were good... I love Oden, but the guy is either on or off, and it was clear from the get-go he was off tonight. When you play 13 minutes and have a line like he did, you really don't deserve to come back in during crunch time. Very disappointing performance again, but I'm happy with the W. Hopefully he'll bounce back next game. Nate had a good group in there down the stretch (he put Bayless in for all you whiners who couldn't stand him being out of the game for a single second in the fourth).

you can look at oden's line, but how many times did he actually touch the ball in the post? i missed a couple of minutes but every post touch i saw ended in an oden basket or a lopez foul.

Were we watching the same game?

They gave the ball to Harris and Bayless was able to get 2/3 stops. That's why we won, period.

Whiners? Please. It was pure logic. Knowing Nate it was up in the air whether we would see Bayless come back in again, if we would have kept Sergio in there instead, I can guarantee you we wouldn't have ran away with it at the end

The IZOD Arena is probably the ugliest arena I've ever seen in my entire life. Wow...

Granted, I was trying to take notes and watch the game, but as good as JB was playing him, he still had 3-4 straight possessions where he was unstoppable getting to the hoop with no threat of a shot being blocked.

It was Fez who said that about Oden. Not me. For the record. Please change your post to show that. I don't want people to think I said Oden sucks.

Yes, whiners... Are you actually going to debate that fact with me?

You're actually using the term, "pure logic", when defending the things that were said in this thread... That may be the funniest thing I've ever heard. Nate goes with guys who are having a good game all the time. There was no doubt in my mind he play Bayless down the stretch.

Clearly Nate agrees with the bold part of your post, seeing as he put Bayless in instead. So, what's the problem again?
