I love hearing the other side of the coin but MIXUM goes WAAAAYYYY over the top. You would think your team consisted of the Heat players at the end of last year if you just listened to him.

Meh, there are 4 or 5 posters here I always read. Most of the posters I generally at least skim. There are a couple I only tend to look at when they draw enough controversy to themselves. Guys like MIXUM and Shooter tend to fall in that category for me. They don't really upset me because I just really don't notice them much.

Which brings up an interesting idea--wouldn't it be cool if Ignoring weren't so binary? I mean, instead of Ignore/Don't Ignore, the user had choices to always show posts by their favorite posters, show the first three sentences of most posts (hover over and an AJAX call would show you the rest of the post), and the first couple of words for posters the user finds least interesting?

That'd be sweet. I could get at most of the best content quickly and only read the rest as time permits.

Hey, if you want in on my Fav 5 you've got to show me the goods.

"The goods" being posts prominently featuring pictures of the players' hot wives.

Mixum is harmless. He's a lot better now than when he got banned over on BBB. My only issue is that I wish he wouldn't start so many threads and would just post his comments in threads already started. I put HAP on my ingnore list. It's been nice. Haven't heard from that douche in months.

Really, just 4 or 5? I enjoy reading mostly everyone's opinion here. There's a lot of good posters on a wide range of spectrums in this forum. MIXUM on one end and HCP (or maybe we should call him MB now?) on the other, and everyone else in between. It's a good mix IMO..

Yeah, I don't mind MIXUM too much, but I do have one person on ignore. It's almost more annoying though sometimes.

well, to be fair, when I'm really bored I read more closely. Right now work is pretty crazy, so I'm pretty selective.

Why, I didn't even read beyond your first 4 words! :)

Better than that. Each cheek is occupying a slot, leaving me only 3.

And one of those remaining 3 is of course myself.

I must say that my life here is much more pleasant since I put Mixum on my ignore list (which consists of 1 person.)

for all that people who put me on their "ignore list" they still comment on me which is amusing.

Especially over the internet. I wouldn't block someone but I see no problem in someone else blocking someone. In fact I'm thinking about blocking every single person on this board except for myself.

And the reason I don't block people (although some people relaly get on my nerves) is because I would find it weird during conversations to just have blank messages.

So that's what it's all about to you, Mixum? Being amusing... even though it's not in a good way?

    Well said HCP.

I honestly believe Mixum is really a Laker/Jazz fan that enjoys his contrarian alter-ego and the juvenile elation that comes from it.

That's my boy, but I think if you went back and looked at my posts, I am a realist, not a homer. KingSpeed is the homer freak!
