Hey DaRizzle, I like all your posts around here, so don't take this question the wrong way. Why are you always on the Blazers board, to the point that you are now starting prediction threads? Have the Blazers become your second team? if so that's kind of a weird mix to have your favorite team be the Lakers and your second favorite team to be Blazers. As I said, it's all good, you don't troll (much) and you often offer up interesting points, so I hope you continue to post here. I just hold out a little hope that eventually you will fully break free from the dark side and root against the Lakers.

Although DaRizzle may have some misplaced team fandom loyalties, it DOES recognize which group of fans are more entertaining (not to mention active). Having DaRizzle around is like having a Hamas member in the middle of a bunch of Jews; we like him anyway. Gramps...
No problem...here ya go. I have tactical reasons for setting it up...really Of course they have, but there is one exception to my fanhood of them. I root for them only when it doesnt hurt the Lakers in ANY way. So pretty much im rooting for them for 78 games this year....If they face each other in the playoffs I want the Lakers to rip the heads off the Blazers...as I would hope you would cheer for the opposite I am 1000% dedicated to the Lakers. They are the only team in any sport that I root for...until I met you guys. Here is the evolution of why Im here to begin with... 1. Joined BBF. First forum I ever saw and participated in. Had a friend say it was a good place to talk Lakers because they werent mindless fucks like all the other Laker forum sites. (insert joke here) I found that to be true for the most part. Chris, Basel, EHL, BH, ElCap, S2THEONIC, Cuban Laker, Plastic Man...are all very knowledgeable Lakers fans IMO. It was nice to have conversations with people that knew what they were talking about rather than "woo Lakers rule" , "Kobe is great" blah blah blah like on other sites. 2. Then I saw the POR forum always with a shitload of people. Of course knowing that POR hates LA helped too. My first venture over there I of course probably had being a smartass on my mind. I think I made some mellow comments in a thread, and saw a few posters freaked out there was a Lakers fan posting in there and that amused me. 3. The Gasol trade went down and a Blazers fan made the thread "The Lakers just got better...". It was talking about the Gasol trade. You could imagine how stoked I was on that day so I posted in the thread. I pretty much said "Wooo Hooo, party up in here!" and I received an infraction for trolling over that. Sa11771 or whatever his SN gave it to me. After this episode it made me change my mind on something...I was gonna kill you guys with kindness. 4. Also, I'll admit, me wanting to know more about Kingspeed and who he was made me hang out there too...and his "loving" opinions Those are all the reasons I FIRST started hanging with you guys. The reasons I stayed are different. 5. Opinions NOT from a Lakers fans. If I can wade thru all the smacktalking then I can get some honest opinions around here (from most...you know who isnt). It really was the first time I could talk to an NBA fan who wasnt a Lakers fan and it was refreshing. Just a different perspective on everything. 6. I enjoy watching an up and coming team. When the Lakers were on their 3rd ship trying for their 4th ( ) I thought.."This is great, but I miss watching a scrappy young team trying to climb up the ranks". I found that in the Blazers. 7. Friendly shit talking...Its a great part of sports is it not? 8. You guys are entertaining as hell! There are sooo many different types of personalities here! There are great opinions here along with the crazy ones! Even though I have finally put one person on ignore I even like reading the opinions that I think are total BS...it adds funny arguments. 9. I started ignoring that "one person" too. It's been much more enjoyable to spend time on here. Thanks for posting here though man...you're our offical So Cal connection!
