the wiz are the worst team in the nba.. and its not close.

we should have been up by 25 at the half.

if we were playing a decent team...we prob would have been down 12-16 at the half. sorry its true.

roy was brilliant...and rudy should be benched. hes a chucker...and when hes missing...he has no value.

no chance vs west teams if we dont start hitting open jumpers.

bayless was awful tonight. i dont think in 3 years i ever thought to myself "get sergio back in" but that changed tonight. when bayless ran the team...we stunk. how can he get 10 points vs the cavs but nothing against the wiz???? is that possible?

i mean the wiz are so bad...its hard to be happy about this win. they might not win another game.

I agree that we should've been up 25 at the intermission. The Wizards hardly scored at all in the first half and they were still in it. A better team would've punished us for our poor bench play early which never really turned around until Outlaw hit a three and dunked a couple times at the end of the game.

hahahahahaha! Bayless did have a bad game though. Not sure what's happened to him. Just attack the damn basket, Jerryd! And shoot with confidence. Bayless is gradually playing himself back into the 3rd string spot. He's blowing his big chance.

hes really the true enigma. when you expect him to suck...he plays well.

seriously though.... bayless is killing his chance and making us keep sergio. thats depressing. in all honesty...you could see in the summer league...bayless is a sg not a pg.

btw...what a weak ass game thread. 8 pages. although.....not even i could picture a loss at home to the wiz. was there any blazer fan who thought we would lose this game? if you wanna make money...take teh spread when any west team plays the wizards. they will cover. im sure of that after watching them play tonight.

You aren't sure what's happened to him? Rookie growing pains, nothing more, nothing less -- the same phenomena that has afflicted Greg Oden, Rudy Fernandez and Nicolas Batum at multiple points in the first half of the season.

He didn't look good so Nate left Sergio in, but I'd hardly say he's blowing his "big chance," he has many more chances ahead of him, this isn't his only shot to show something.

I thought that for the first time this season, I started to see the guards, primarily Sergio and Roy, start to finally have some chemistry with Oden this season. Sergio had a great second half. Bayless struggled offensivly, but was good defensivly, which I can live with. See that is the nice part about a good defender, even if their offensive game isn't going, you get something out of them.

And no, I still don't miss Steve Blake.

I don't really miss Blake, either. Sergio and Bayless have each had ups and downs, but so did Blake. In spite of MB's Blake Love on the broadcasts, I'm not convinced that the team is better with Steve on the floor.

I know, I've laughed out loud at some of the outrageous assertions MB has made about how 'desperately' the Blazers need their savior Blake in the lineup. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate what Blake actually does, and I like him, but I don't care if he never comes back. I like that Sergio and Bayless are getting a chance to improve their games, in the games. They aren't as "steady" or risk free as Blakey, but they'll likely both be better than Blake by the start of next season, if not sooner (like playoff time).

I think that is because every single one of the PG had major holes in their game, and each one of them has different strengths. You know what is funny, is if you combined all 3 of their strong points in one guard, you would have a pretty awesome PG. Maybe we can name this theoretical PG Blaylio or something (Crossing Blake, Bayless and Sergios names...)
