If the Blazers have a winning streak it starts during the next 11 games. We only have 4 games against teams above .500, (utah, hornets, mavs, hawks), two of which are at home. I could see us winning 10/11 of these games realistically and if the team continues to click as it is now we could see another long winning streak.

Updated 3-0, 5 Game win streak

I'll say 7-4...everytime I predict huge success, we underachieve...we never play well in Dallas, NO, or GSW and we are always prone to dropping a game or two to teams we have no business losing to.

I can't even imagine looking at 37-18 in the standings (or 36-19), but I sure as hell wouldn't complain about it.

You simply have us loosing to any team over .500. Two game of which are going to be played in Portland where we have a sizable advantage due to home court. Also people, notice that only 4 of the games are road games.
Thats said i think if we win our next 4 games there is no reason to not go 11-0

So does it make me a bad fan if I predict 6-5, saying we'll lose all the ones DaRizzle picked, as well as either tonight's game or the one at GSW? I mean, I'd love to see another 13-game winning streak, but I think it's much more likely that we remain about a .600 team throughout the rest of the year.

And as much as I hate to say it, DaRizzle has proven that without the detriment of Blazer homerism, he's better at it than any of us.

And I agree with maxie, anything the Rizzle says usually happens.

I think we need to go a little better than 7-4 during this stretch. We do well against sub-.500 teams, but we struggle with wins against the West playoff teams. For us to make that next step, we need to prove we can beat our the teams we're in the race with.
8-3 I would be happy with. 7-4 would be OK.

I think 8 and 3 is pretty likely. Utah is a MASH unit right now, with AK-47 on the shelf along with Boozer. They are also a poor road team, so I feel pretty confident that Portland will beat them in the Rose Garden.

Portland never seems to win at Golden State, so that would be a loss. I think the New Orleans game will be close, but I think Portland loses it. Oklahoma City is a game that Portland is going to lose. The match ups are bad, Oden is going to feel a huge amount of pressure to play well and the team won't take them seriously. My guess is that Westbrook and Durant light Portland up. Roy has a huge game, and LA does as well, but no one else shows up.

7-8 wins, not exactly sure which. But if we could go 8-3 i would be INCREDIBLY happy! We would be 35-20, which is a phenominal record. 36-19 looks a lot better though!

Detriment? Screw that. My Blazer homerism is a source of pride. I say 11-0 which, when coupled with the two games in a row that the Blazers have won, equates to a 13 game winning streak matching last year's.

    38-17. Sweet.

We have already picked up some serious ground from last year. When we piled up our 28th win we already had 20 losses. We are ahead by 3 already. I agree that we will be 8-3 the next 11 games.

The other thing is that it was acknowledged last year that we were playing over our heads. No one is accusing us of that this year. We've had games this year where not everything was clicking and we still won handily. That didn't happen last year.

You're crazy, or else we'll be hearing from some poster around here that it's the end of the world.
