Hey i thought of making a thread for those players who deserved to be on the All - star teams but weren't picked.

I honestly think that there were a number of disappointments, namely...

    1. Al Jefferson - How could you snub arguably one of the best Centers in the West? Sure Shaq is back but he hasn't played consistenly and is slightly behind Al Jeff in terms of production.

    2. Steve Nash - Come on! this is the All - Star game! We need guys like him over guys like Billups who aren't fun to watch :biglaugh:

    3. Carmel Anthony - WTF? If only he didn't get injured, he should have been in there instead of Billups to represent the Nuggets.

    4. Vince Carter - I think the NO 2 all - stars from a bad team rule had an effect as to why Carter wasn't picked. We'll miss his dunks though. Although i think he should have been picked over Pierce and Rashard.

    5. A. Iguodala - Should have been in the East, Period. Rashard and Pierce had no business in the team. I would have even preferred Turkoglu over Rashard.

    6. Durant - Almost but not quite.

    *Notes:
Man! the East has a lot more showtime players than the West LOL

    Thoughts?

Billups absolutely deserves to be in the all-star game over Nash

Your logic for number 2, kinda 3, 4, and 5 make no sense.

I'd like to think LaMarcus Aldridge at least deserved serious consideration, but I'd have a hard time putting him on the team ahead of David West or Dirk Nowitzki. I think the West was actually pretty solid.

I don't get how Jameer Nelson winds up an All-Star, though.

Who's spot should Mo take? Nelson deserves it as well.

Gasol and West made it because of their team's records.

Iverson made it from the fan vote, I believe. He shouldn't be in the allstar game at all.

No, he doesn't. I don't think any team in the NBA right now has three full-fledged All-Stars, and certainly not the Orlando Magic, and absolutely not, if that third player is going to be Jameer friggin' Nelson.

Look at the teams in the east. The point guard position is extremely weak. Jameer has strung together a lot of great games as of late, and besides the starters and Devin Harris (who is an allstar) there really isn't anyone else out there.

IMO it is Rashard Lewis, not Jameer, who shouldn't be in the allstar game.

idk i think mo williams deserves to be in there over lewis or nelson. i'm a believer in the team play consideration and the fact that clevlamd had one and orlando had 3 idk. i think vince should of made it as wel over harris but harris is having a good year and denying him would be hard

It's impressive, but that doesn't guarantee him to be an allstar. He has Dwight Howard freeing him up in the middle.

I would've given it to Vince Carter, but maybe that's just me.

Al Jefferson OVER Shaq definitely. And I might have chosen Mo Williams over Jameer Nelson. That one is really tough. But Shaq?? NO NO!
