Andre Miller is a UFA after the season, so there's some concern there.

HOWEVER, Sergio and Travis leave, so a yes from me!

Don't you guys still need a SF then? Young makes more sense, doesn't he? You can get a backup PF for second round picks, or off of waivers. And Andre Miller probably walks after the season. Though much like BG, he's going to get a much smaller deal than he was counting on....

I don't think that acquiring Young is very realistic. He's a heck of a prospect, and I'd love to have him as a Blazer, but the Sixers must realize what he's capable of, as well, and would be loathe to give him up...

The sixers have been playing pretty well, I really don't see them doing much.

They have without Elton Brand. With him they suck. They need to move Brand (which they probably won't be able to), so they may be open to dealing other guys (as Brand can't play in an uptempo system which Miller likes to run)

Thought i would post this in two threads since they both relate. Sorry:

I don't think Quick ever has inside scoop, but if there is any smoke to his trade rumor, I think it is NJ. I think that NJ would do anything to get rid of Carter's contract and get in the LJ sweepstates. I think they would include Harris to get rid of Carter and they would want Bayless in return along with Raef and filler.

That is a lot of money for Paul.

I don't think Atlanta wants to blow their team up since they're 26-19 and fourth in the East. Marvin's been showing why he was a No. 2 pick, as well as their giving up their starting PG for two backups and an expiring contract? Only if we could dream...

miller likes to run an uptempo offense, then why would he want to resign with us in the off season? nate has the reigns pulled very tightly on this team, no uptempo to be seen in PDX.

Be prepared to part with Lamarcus, Brandon or Greg then.

LaFrentz. His surname I believe originated in France.

I think Quick is talking out his ass...but since we're all fantasing...here is the trade.

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...454~2795&teams=22~22~22~17~17~17~17&te=&cash=

    We trade,

    Jerryd Bayless
    Martell Webster
    Steve Blake
    Raef Lafrentz

    We get back,

    Devin Harrris
    Vince Carter
    Yi Jianlian

The key to this trade is not Harris or Carter but Yi Jianlian. With Yi on our team, Paul Allen will make a fortune in new revenue in China and all our starters will be voted to start the All-Star team next year and every year after until the NBA finally changes the way players are chosen for the game.

    Ok...that is my fantasy

At the least it would take a 1st, Bayless, Rudy, Batum, Outlaw and Raef and maybe Joel to even start talking aboutthem giving up Harris, even to get rid of Carter's contract and Yi. But I feel ya that this is a dream scenerio, so i'm right with ya. I'd do it in a second! Only for Harris though, I don't care about anyone else, and Yi wouldn't see time and would be bitching, as would China, lol. But i would def. be willing to part w/ Bayless, Rudy and Raef for someone like Granger or Harris... even Batum which is tougher.

Well we are talkin' dream scenerio's. Those are 2 of the players i'd want the most not named LeBron, Williams or Paul... I'd probably want Stuckey, Rose and Harris as the 3 PGs... and noone more than Granger at SF outside Bron.
