This thought hit me like a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick to the skull. You gotta really let it simmer and think about the draft tho.

Draft the Crabman with the first pick. Him and Calvin would make a better pair then Bert and Ernie. With the 20th pick Draft Percy Harvin. He will be a great slot guy.

Run a spread offense, and buy a new scoreboard becouse we will run the scores up on people :)

didn't they try that multi-WR plan through the draft before? And how did that work?

They either need to either get a QB (Cassel) as a free-agent and draft and Offensive Lineman (without a good relaiable QB and pass blocking, your WRs wouldn't amount to crap). If they don't go that route they need to take a page out of the Falcons book and draft a QB

But they drafted allways hurt, lazy, and crappy Wide Recvers. Im talking drafting 2 cant miss WRs to team up with Calvin. How can you cover all three of them? Someone will be in single coverage, or we can hand the ball off to Smith. It will work.

Then you trade next year's picks for Anquan Boldin.

Who gives a fuck who's playing QB when you can throw to Calvin, Anquan, Crabtree, AND Percy??

I think Boldin's a pretty cool guy, he catches footballs and doesn't afraid of anything

I guess no one liked the WR draft.

What if we draft Stafford at number one, Dirty Sanchez at 20 and another QB in the 2nd round. One of them guys have to get the ball to Calvin.

You're going for all these WR studs when I'm sure you could get a competent QB if you rerouted all your effort into that. Make Calvin's life easier, and you have plenty of options.

I like that you want to build through the draft....this might be a stretch because of the players involved, but what about Andre Smith 1st to play RT, Oher at 20 to play LT, Duke Robinson at the top of the 2nd round to play right guard, and move Backus to left guard....then you take that 6'1'' 220 pound wrecking ball named Kevin Smith and shove him right down the throats of every team you play....sign Leftwhich as a stop gap/low risk/high reward free agent, let him build a relationship with CJ, and then draft a developmental guy later in the draft....build from the inside out and you will be consistently dominant, build around finess and you will be explosive, but frustratingly inconsistant....
