All 15 fans of the Charlotte Bobcats probably feel like this is karma.

I Can't say I'm overly disappointed. You have to feel for the guy though.

That sucks for him. Hope he recovers...but should probably recover slow versus fast (i.e. rest of the year).

But might put some of the shit-talking laker fans who were yapping about Oden being injury prone and Bowie II to shut the fuck up now.

well everyone loves to call oden injury prone...but bynum has passed him at this point imo. Hes had 2 major injurys now in 3 years....after playing lots of minutes. that doesnt bode well for his future.

Your subject line is incorrect. The link says 8 - 12 weeks. 3 months is 13 weeks.

It just makes the Blazers chances of beating the Lakers at the RG slightly easier.

After our experience with Oden, I wish only for good things for all big men.

Maybe Bynum is injury prone :lol:

(I don't think he is, it's suppose to be a joke relating to all of such accusations about Oden)

Bummer for Lakers fans. Good for the rest of the NBA.

Wow, even two months means he comes back near the starting of the playoffs. Sound familiar? Last year, he was predicted to come back by then, but ended out sitting the rest of the season.

He's also going to be rusty when he comes back. I think the Lakers just took a huge hit in the championship race.

    Same here.

Being happy about guys being injured is bush league bullshit, and while I don't believe in Karma, it sure would be nice to see a little more class than reveling in a guy's misfortune ... especially considering all of the shit we've had to hear about Portland bigs and their ability to stay healthy.

That being said, I hate to see it. I want LAL at full strength when we play them. No excuses.

I'm waiting for MIXUM to somehow spin this as being "bad for the Blazers..."

You know when they say 8 to 12 weeks for a torn MCL, I have to tend to believe that they are completely full of shit. He won't be back this year.

If it's a complete tear, he's gone longer. If it's a partial tear (often referred to as a "Grade X sprain"), he could be back. The real question is to how much rust is he going to have to shake off and how will his conditioning be?
