Nice way to follow up a 33 point performance TO! 8 points in 30 minutes and some very typical lapses in defense.

I had to resurrect this thread to remind the TO apologists about his wild inconsistencies.

he hasn't even been "on top of the world" for the half the games this season, more like 1 in 5.

He had an off night shooting but still scored 8 (he only averages 11.5) and didn't turn the ball over.

Some posters only seem to post positive things about him, others only post negative things.

I'll take the positive posters considering Travis is a long-time Blazer who has been through the garbage years. :dunno:

It took him 10 shots and 4 FTs to get to those 8 points. Yay, he still scored!

Let's hear it for Travis' 13 pt, 7 rebound, 1 steal, & 1 blk performance tonight. And if you like +/-, which I personally don't care for, he was +14. He hit 3 big three point shots and hit the clutch shot at the end to put the Nets away for good. Vintage Travis.

    Lol Kingspeed...

First, Great Game Travis. You attacked the paint when you had a shot, only had a couple of "Oh No!s", and for the most part played solid D. And you hit your open 3's. Had some energy out there tonight.

But "vintage" Travis? Anything can be "vintage" Travis--he's so inconsistent. You could say 3-11 with 1 reb and 3 To's is "Vintage". If this becomes "Vintage" Travis, I'm ok with that.

I thought he was even better the game before vs Washington.

btw... I'd hope that no Blazer pays our little chatsite any mind.

Does "great" include really bad defense on Steve Novak?

No. But it does mean shooting over the top of anyone! Clutch.

Travis had a GREAT game tonight. Great game tonight. He was the guy who got us back into the game in the 2nd quarter but then he got into foul trouble and the lead opened up again for the Hornets. When he got back into the game in the 2nd half, he shot us back into it. Hit some big big shots. I wish all the Blazers fans would just watch him play and enjoy it. Go Travis!!! You are worth a lot to our success.

Travis was great down the stretch. The big thing is he's not just relying on his dribble-right, pull-up jumper anymore. MB and Rice talked about it, and Travis was dribbling left and pulling up, and he drove to the hoop. If Travis can develop his jumper going both directions and drive to the hoop... that'd be great.

Outlaw is fun to watch when he's got it going. I wouldn't rely on him, but then, I don't rely on Rudy, either. Outlaw is the platonic "X-factor"...he can randomly change games (in a good way) or be largely irrelevant.
