Jermaine O'Neal seems pretty obvious. Shawn Marion comes to mind..so does Jamaal Tinsley...

Those are the main 3 I can come up with..though I'm rather positive there's more.

He was my top pick as well...any team sniffing the playoffs would at least be calling 'Sota about him. Thier asking for a young player and a draft pick...so I'm thinking it will get done.

I would've also said Gerald Wallace...but not so much now...ouchy...:sigh:

Unless Kevin Pritchard is convinced he can get Darius Miles back of the Blazers cap, Raef LaFrentz.

Hopefully Luke Walton, Lamar Odom, and/or Radman

I think Brad Miller is most likely to be traded though.

Hinrich and Noc for Odom and Mbenga? Would Lakers be interested in that? Gives them a little bit more firepower. I think Phil Jackson could turn Nocioni into a force of good, instead of evil, like he is on the Bulls.

For some reason I think the Cavs will find a way to nab Mike Miller.

That will make them even more dangerous:

    Mo Williams
    Mike Miller
    LeBron James
    Ben Wallace
    Big Z

    Key reserves
    West
    Wally World
    Varejao

    Who would take Tinsley though?

I think it's funny that the Raptors are so anxious to move O'Neal after only half a season.

So much for Odom being traded. That ain't happening now that Bynum is hurt.

I would assume so. The only way he'll come back is if he's willing to take a paycut, and I don't see that happening. I assume that retaining Ariza will be the Lakers top priority come the offseason, and if they can get Lamar to come back, that'd be a plus. However, I don't see it happening. Still though, the Lakers can't afford to trade him at this stage, unless they get someone that's capable of playing the 4/5 and would be content with being a backup when Bynum comes back in the next couple(ish) months.

So why not move him? You're in the same situation as the Blazers with laFrentz... use him now, or lose the asset.

It's a completely different situation. LaFrentz provides NOTHING on the court, Odom is a good player despite the constant complaining by Lakers fans. Odom is a nice asset financially but the Lakers are contenders so they'd want someone as good or better in return. You also have to take into account how other players would fit into the triangle system as well as the Laker's financial concerns. They're already paying big money to Kobe, Pau, and Bynum- would they want to replace Odom's expiring contract with one or a few long term contracts? They've got money but the economy is pretty tough these days and, as mentioned, they want to keep Ariza.
