He plays at SG because Charlotte had Wallace and Phoenix had Hill. He can definitely play SF.

And If I recall correctly, I think he played some SF in Charlotte, next to Wallace at PF and Okafor at C.

Yes he played 25% of his minutes at SF for Charlotte and obtained a 4.3 PER while doing so.

Pretty good chance that Bosh/Amare (if acquired) will be gone in two years.

He's a good player, but if you would click on the link, it would show you J-Rich's 4.3 PER while playing SF for Charlotte

21.1 last year at the small forward position, and with 53% of his minutes too.

He was hampered by injuries in Charlotte this season.

Maybe, which is why I would rather stand pat. But either of those guys leaving would be kinda stupid. A tandem of Roy and Oden (at least what we hope he becomes) with either of those 2 would be lethal

Not exactly a huge sample size. As you said, he played the vast majority of his minutes at the 2.

Yes he did have a good year last year

But I wouldn't want a 6'6 guy at SF when his natural position is SG and he usually plays SF when a team goes to small-ball.

Amare I can pretty much guarantee would leave unless Portland is ready to open the vault. Money is his number one motive, he said himself that he's a businessman first.

Bosh would be more likely to stick around, but he simply not worth the money he'll be paid.

Again playing in a small-ball line-up. Not something I would want for this team

Look at his stats in Golden State. It all leads to him being able to play SF efficiently. Is he good on defense? Hell no, but he's just as bad on D at the SG position.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Both are more face-up players than low-post fixtures. Bosh strikes me as just as aggressive at attacking the hoop as Amare.

Oden is a low-post player, so a face-up attacker at power forward who can shoot would be a good complement. Of course, Portland has one in Aldridge, so there's no real need to make a move. I think Bosh is better than Aldridge because he's more aggressive, so I'd be somewhat interested in him. Stoudemire's regression this year is concerning, plus he plays worse defense than Aldridge and has attitude issues, so I'm significantly less interested in Stoudemire.
