Way to go Ben. 2 bad shots and an offensive foul.

Hey another turnover by Ben. Stupid mistakes at key moments.

And where the hell has Luol Deng been? Another disappearing act.

We've broken down....we should have fouled before to prevent Mavs from shooting a three...now we are in a mess with a young team.

When was the last time Deng did something to impact this game? Why is he even in the game?

Well, at least Ben got his points. That's really all that matters.

lol at Gordon hitting the 3 to put us down by 1 at the 0:00 mark...that's amazing...we needed that way before then. At least he tried and I give him credit for that. Actually we needed some serious D on Dirk too...he torched us.

Just a messed up game to say the very least. It was supposed to be our win had we fouled and let them shoot two and held on for the possession we would have won

Derrick Rose lost us this game imo. I have to go through the game log still, but he was having a super efficient game to start, but ended up with a 44 TS%, which means he missed almost all of his shots down the stretch, besdies that one towards the end.

We need to start running the end play for Gordon. Rose has missed too many of them this year.

The subbing of Hinrich for Gordon in the overtime didn't make any sense. Gordon had Barea under control, all that sub did was take away our best offensive option.

Oh...and Dirk was clutch as hell. Have to give props to Dirk, he pulled it out for his team.

Hey...if the Mavericks dumb like the Clippers, we could have had a 4 point play there and brought it into double OT!

That could have been a game winner if they didn't call that BS offensive foul on him earlier in the OT when he nailed the shot, although that one turnover, where he passed it to Dirk was terrible.

Did you not see him get smoked twice in a row in the fourth. That's why he got pulled and Kirk came in.

Nope, didn't see it, because it never happened.

Jose Barrea - 0 points 0-1 shooting with Gordon in in the fourth. 4 points on 2-4 shooting with Hinrich on him in the fourth.

Josh Howard scored 8 points in the ~2 minutes prior to Gordon being pulled...and Howard wasn't Gordon's man....

    Hmm,

    Some quick thoughts.

Dirk won this game and was the deciding factor (Kidd just happened to be in the right place at the right time).

Terrible pick and roll defense on Barea. This has been a reoccurring problem all fucking year. I think Rose gets more shit about his defense, when it's obvious he's not getting sufficient help on the picks.

Rose got fucking fouled on both of those driving shots (he was fortunate to hit one, miss the other, but yet again, it was the rookie getting screwed by no calls). Both times he was undercut when going up.

Deng was a late game no show. Really didn't have his jumper working tonight. Missed a huge driving layup late in the regulation.

Noah's free throw shot has a sideways rotation. Where;'d the fuck he learn that? Uranus?

Have to look at the bright side, the road trip was a success. Tyrus has another solid game. Need to improve and move on.

Whatever, then it was the 3rd. You get embarrassed like that twice, on top of being yanked 2 minutes into the game for bad defense, then don't be surprised when you get pulled in OT.

    Again, that was Kirk Hinrich.

Jose Barea bursted past Kirk Hinrich for the easy layup. Then next play down, Dirk set a screen for Barea, Aaron Gray showed on Barea a little bit. Kirk went under the pick, never got back up to put pressure on Barea, and Barea sunk the three.

Yeah, no it wasn't. Check the play by play during the 3rd with around 6 minutes left, Ben came right out after he got smoked back to back. Then Kirk came in and fouled him the very next play when he tried to run the same move on Kirk as he did on Ben. You get smoked, you get yanked in the first 2 min of the game, you don't question why you come out in OT which is all I'm saying. I don't need to defend my "Ben can't play defense" comments. That's just understood by everyone as pure fact.

Let's see if I get this logic straight.

Put in Thabo instead of Gordon and maybe you hold Dirk to 34 instead of 44. I'd call that good D.

    So 115 (dallas) minus 10 points (44 -34) = 105
    and 114 - 28 (Gordon) + 0 (thabo) = 86

Maybe Kirk scores 10 points more if you play him 48 minutes.

    114 - 28 (Gordon) + 10 (Kirk extra 10) = 96
