Whoever can get the ball to ODEN in many different ways and early is the PG you start and keep. B Roy can always take the point when he needs the ball and Oden is not shy passing out of the double back to Roy or LA. Feeding Oden with a PG that can find him is the key!!! B Roys life is easy when that is established.

    IT'S THAT SIMPLE!!!

If other teams teams defenses are focusing on Oden, Roy unguarded can explode not to mention LA. The more touches Oden gets, the better Roy and LA are going to be.

I thought Sergio had a pretty good game yesterday, but I don't think he was being showncased. He just had a good game is all. If the Blazers had some magical way of making Sergio looking good whenever a prospective trade partner is in town, I would wonder why they just didnt' do that all the time...

    WTF?

You're turning into Mixum now, seeing negatives where they don't exist.

2 steals, forced Duhon into 4 TO's, outscored Duhon 16-10, caused Duhon to miss 2/3 of his shots, outrebounded Duhon 3-1, and kept Duhon from drawing a single shooting foul.

Sergio played great D, disrupted the Nits offense, lit a fire and gathered our players into a very effective offensive unit.

No way we would have won this game with anyone else getting his minutes.

No you are just taking it hard because you love Sergio. Sergio got burned plenty of times, but so did a lot of the Blazers tonight. Also you seem to forget that he wasn't on Duhon the whole time. Why don't you mention how many point Nate Robinson scored?

NY is a team known to play little defense. Sergio is the best at getting the ball to open teammates. This is magnified by the Knicks' poor defense. So, IMO, that's why...he fit better for this game.

I think that Sergio played pretty well... Bayless got a pair of turnovers and, IMO, ticked Nate off a bit and never really got back in the groove.

No showcasing, I don't think. Nate is more interested in winning every game than in showcasing anyone.

Exactly. In theory, if you are winning every game you shouldn't have to worry about "showcasing" because you have a pretty good team.

I don't know about that. Sergio can't keep ANYONE out of the paint.

Bad is bad. Saying one is worse than the other is like trying to say rotten Limburger cheese smells worse than an open sewer :dunno:

Rodriguez didn't force Duhon's 4 TO's, you just read the boxscore and hope people believe you. Rodriguez also didn't force him to miss 2/3 of his shots. Duhon was bricking wide open jumpers.

Throw it against the wall and hope it sticks.

If Sergio wasn't hitting outside shots this conversation isn't happening. Simple truth is that in a game that was all offense no defense we couldn't afford to have an offensive liability like Bayless in the game.

He was an offensive liability yesterday. 3 turnovers in 10 minutes is bad bad bad.

So Duhon just had 4 TO's on purpose, missed 8 of 12 shots on purpose.

Your post is retarded, and will not stick. On purpose?:dunno:?

Rodriguez wasn't responsible for those 4 TO's or the 8 shots he missed. He wasn't guarding him the whole time and a couple of those 4 TO's weren't forced. But hey, why let facts get in the way of a good story.

    Nor can Blake.... :dunno:

I mean is it THAT hard to recognize Tim Thomas' ONE identifiable specialty?

IF your Travis, apparently it is....
